Stone Ocean is the best Jojo part, accept it. SBR is overrated and lame.
SO
SBR felt so mundane compared to the rest of the parts especially after reading SO
Stone Ocean>Steel Ball Run>Jojolion>Diamond is Unbreakable>Golden Wind>Stardust Crusaders>Battle Tendency>Phantom Blood
Well Araki himself said that SO was his peak as far as stand abilities go.
Stone Ocean>Diamond is Unbreakable>Golden Wind>Battle Tendency>Stardust Crusaders>Phantom Blood>Steel Ball Run>Jojolion
GOAT Ocean is indeed the best part.
SO was the only part I finished in a day. Good times.
Suffers of middle part(between foo fighters and escape) being a real slog of uninteresting fights and unmemorable characters, the only exception being dragon's dream.
But desu incels will hate Jolyne just based on her gender. Sad.
Based Oceanchads, can't wait for DP to make haters eat their words yet again
Man, Part 6 will either destroy the Jojo fandom ( again) or get the recognition it deserves. It's a 50/50 chance... I'm the most excited I've ever been for a part adaptation.

DP SO hits
Anasui has green/ grey hair.
>actually thinking this
Notice how most of the hate for Stone Ocean comes from Part 5 fans
Nah all the fights are great. Araki went all out with the stands in Stone Ocean, leading to some great encounters.
2>6>4>5>1>3>7>8
I've been re-reading Stone Ocean, thinking I was just burnt out the first time, and it's about as un-engaging as I remember it. The stands are interesting, but the fights themselves aren't.
They salty cause 6 had all 3 sons better written than Giorno to the point he wasn't necessary anymore.
That Westwood fight was intense
After they break out of jail its kino but those first 100 chapters are horrendous to push through. Although SO does have some of the best stand designs
Weird... or am I the weird one? To me 6 hadt he most engaging fights in all of Jojo. Where as part 7 was such a struggle to get through... I felt like Araki just dumbed down the stands and fights braking his previous momentum. I was really disappointed I tell you that.
I enjoyed Dragon's Dream, it isn't a bad fight.
And some of the worst stand power..
Liked it too
Westwood along with DD, along with Sky High, along with underworld, and C-Moon... best shit in all of Jojo imo.
>And some of the worst stand power
That's part 5.
Agreed
all parts are amazing stop comparing one to another better compare antagonists
>999
damn
Pucci > Diavolo > Cars > Dio > Kira > Valentine
Are people finally starting to realize that Dragon's Dream is kino?
For me it always was... doubt it for the majority tho. The real redpill is YoYoMA
for me it's:
kira=valentine>=dio>Diavolo>pucci>ultimate lifeform
7 > 2 > 5 > 3 = 4 > 1 > 6
Part 7 has the best characters, some of the coolest designs in Jojo (Johnny, Gyro D4C...), an interesting and mysterious story, a cool setting and an amazing villain.
Part 2 has a great and funny Jojo, is fast-paced and action packed with crazy fights only Joseph could sell, and he does it perfectly. The story is very focused and concise with a few very impactful character moments. Later parts can sometimes feel drawn out, but not Part 2.
Part 5 has my favorite story and theme of the entire series. It also has the most awesome and brutal fights and (mostly) awesome characters. It's brought down by a weak Jojo and a few minor things.
Parts 3 and 4 are really tough to rank. I really love a lot of things in both, but overall they just aren't as good as the top 3 parts.
In part 1 I really love the relationship between Dio and Jonathan, and Dio is a great character in general. But other than that, the part doesn't have much to offer. The fights are lame, secondary characters are not very fleshed out and in general the part feels a little random.
Part 6 has many issues. Half of it feels like pointless filler fights that are also not very entertaining. Jolyne, Ermes, and Foo Fighters have very similar personalities (badass, loud, aggressive) and don't play well off each other, even though by themselves they are perfectly fine characters. Weather Report is easily the most interesting character, but doesn't interact with the others for most of the story. Emporio is awful. Anasui is the only one who starts any sort of interesting dialogue between the main cast. Pucci is the worst villain by far. Valentine is the same concept done a hundred times better. And on top of all this, there are a lot of rewrites of characters and concepts that were previously established in Jojo (Dio, the Speedwagon Foundation, how stands work) making the whole read even more strange. The last fight and ending are really interesting and cool, though.

madman this is blasphemy
chadman
There is no bad fight/arc in Stone Ocean. Yo-Yo Ma is fun.
