Money making is always a calculated risk thing, it's not about working hard or thinking about it logically. In my head right now I have a very simple calculation. First, why invest into crypto? All normie media says it's a scam right? Well it's not a scam, for one there aren't any avenues open today for large transfers of intergenerational wealth, except crypto. So already I know that the intergenerational wealth transfer from old people to young people will be made through crypto. That's why crypto isn't a scam, because this needs to happen for western society not to collapse. Furthermore because this needs to happen, it will turn out that crypto is not a scam, because when you have sufficient funds and belief in a project, it usually becomes something concrete and functional. Secondly, I had a modest 10k stack to play with. I can't invest it into a x2, that's not going to do anything for me. Best risk-reward ratio for this stack level? Chainlink. I'm all-in on Chainlink. Now I'm holding and not touching it because my country's tax law says you don't pay tax if you don't touch your crypto stuff for more than a year, so that will be good to me. I also don't intend to swing because Chainlink could literally pop off into the stratosphere at any point, that's an issue beyond taxes. So I'n holding, in 1-3 years I will be able to buy an apartment with this money. There is a possiblity of course that coronavirus crashes everything but in that case it doesn't matter if crypto goes bust because everything will go bust, so I don't see a real risk inherent in holding crypto during a potential coronacrash. Your problem is you don't have original thoughts and think that following news is smart but there is so much more philosophical thinking you need to do for your position.
