Real talk I may be alone in this but the ecchi is overdone as a % of the show's runtime. At this point we've seen it all.
Reducing by half for dialogue and character building would be great.

The LNs have 25 Vols in the main run and we're less than halfway adapted over 5 seasons.
Apparently the "Shin" series that follows is titled as such because the editors didn't want to scare away new readers by having a high number. Author still churning out a new LN every 6 months.

One of my theories is that if characters have actual intercourse the LN gets a different age rating and then the potential audience shrinks as mostly teenagers buy LNs. Or maybe some stores cannot carry it anymore when it's R-rated?
Anybody with an idea of the jap age rating system chime in maybe?
