Sasuke would have still left sure but I think his tone would change if he realized that Naruto was trying to be empathetic. The whole issue was that Naruto was going to literally break Sasuke's bones to bring him back and didn't empathize with him whatsoever while Sasuke actually put on his Leaf headband when fighting Naruto showing that he was doing his part.

It's really hard to speculate because Naruto is written in such a way that his convictions are the ultimate moral standard. Breaking such an important one as abandoning a comrade would be very OOC.

Yeah, that's what I meant by abandoning a comrade. Sakura would be upset, Kakashi disappointed, village authorities and friends might hold him accountable for preventing a fellow Konoha shinobi from going rogue. This is no way for a shounen hero to act. It is how it is.

Considering the light consequences Sasuke faces after all the shit he's done I'm sure Tsunade would've pardoned him. Naruto was always stubborn as fuck, and Sasuke being his shounen rival meant there was no way this was going to end up any other way.
