What the hell is going on with Episode G?
Isaiah Adams
non of them were fujo bait.
Jacob Smith
Fujos didn't care, sometimes if they like the character design they ship it even without any canon material.
Joshua Sullivan
Not him. This doesn't matter.
Those aren't shows made to bait them.
Josiah Watson
It isn't about "baiting" them, those were the shows the fujos first started latching on and sold doujin for at comiket. Also

>“I tried to close the curtain on the subject of Char and Amuro. If I had one thing to say about the way I did, it’s that in order for me to develop as a writer, instead of concluding a war story… that is, yes, yes, yes. I thought it would be good if, maybe, I could highlight the sensuous elements… to the point that you’d think, “Could Char and Amuro be gay?” To me, fiction writing is, more than anything… like I just said, about conveying that sensuality, having the audience pick up on it… if they can’t, it’s no good.”
>“Speaking of the first film, that [sensuality] isn’t limited to the scene between Amuro and Frau Bow. I believe it exists in Char and Amuro’s reunion as well. Kamille, a foreign body, gets between them so that everyone watching thinks: “You idiot!” Why that reaction? It’s because, in response to the sexuality between these two men, somewhere within all the viewers is the urge to shout: “Quit interfering, you’re just some punk kid!” That’s what I think (laughs).”

It's about the shows they found interesting enough to make fanworks.

>"What I want modern day Gundam fans to understand is that Gundam wasn't nurtured by the PlaModel enthusiasts. It was young women who first came to the after recording studio, and Gundam is a work that began with their support. And it was a work that had no connection to the popularity of Gundam PlaModels. So I think the most important thing is creating a work that will attract those kind of girls to it again. I don't think movies as an entertainment industry can succeed without touching on that kind of fundamental portion."
>“The very first fans of the original Gundam were young women. Definitely not the PlaModel enthusiasts. With both Gundam and Raideen, of the first fans to be active, 90% were girls. Among a gathering of 1000 fans, about 100 were boys. Around when the first cour ended, young women began to gather to the after recording studio. It took until much later for male fans make an uproar, around the time series got canceled. I thought: You’re late to the party!”
>"When the movies were screening, we had many male fans who got into Gundam via Gunpla come to see it. Meanwhile, the girls who had been fans since the TV series aired got together to create their own world via fanzines. The fans, never interacting with each other, existed on separate planes."
Jason Ramirez
No need to quote me that interview, it's famous. Tomino says a lot of extreme shit.
There isn't fujo material in the other series user mentioned.
Evan Powell
What part aren't you getting?
Fujos even shipped Goku and Vageta and they aren't made to fujobait at all. Fujos don't care if a series is made for them or not, those shows were all very popular with old school fujos.
Ayden Collins
Char and Garma were clear examples of proto fujo bait, same goes with Joe, Carlos Rivera and Andre.
Liam Powell
And I'm saying that the series aren't made for fujos.
Landon Evans
Yeah, I didn't say they were made for fujos, those shows made the fujos start fujoshipping with full force.
Lucas Flores
meant for Also, FMA, Gintama and Death note, etc all had huge fujo followings like most shounen shows, they aren't made for fujos but fujos still use those for ships.
Jonathan Thomas
I forgot about this. Did it suck?
Henry Smith
already existed, he was the cool guy that always get girl on the manga and the 3d movie toei made (finally they made scorpio what it was a freaking female waited years for that after seeing in th mnga scorpio was a girl and got it)
Austin Williams
>Joe
What the fuck did Fujos saw in Joe? He isn't 100% edgy or dark, i guess he was probably pretty compared to what they had at the time.
