Me too user

I'm 28 and my networth was $50k until I inherited another $200k. I was never bothered about it though, these days it's hard as fuck to kick-start a professional career, I spent my mid 20s bouncing around academia and odd jobs waiting to crack into industry proper. Half of my cohort don't even work in STEM fields despite graduating with me from a top 5 uni in my country, probably top 3 for our course.

Just to check my privilege quickly: I admit that maybe part of why I wasn't bothered was that I knew my eventual inheritance would be moderate 6-fig so I don't really need to fret about retirement, as long as I save enough to eat and rent in a unit that's my worst case; likely case would be also inheriting a large house in my 60s. For me, wagecucking is about middle class pride and prestige, I don't do it for the money. Bailing to consult 2 days a week as soon as I have the expertise.

How should i end it

So you have $250k at age 28 and you think you are set for life? user, $250k doesn't go as far as you think it does...

>humble brags seeking validation

this just fucking neck yourselves all of you

80k is pretty good for 29 assuming you have no debt

dont think you know just how broke the average millenial is

You’re doing better than most

We have similar portfolio. Im just a year younger and I live in a shit fucking hole

lol you guys are delusional. more than half of all Americans live paycheck to paycheck, with no savings. Even having $10k in assets to your name and debt-free probably puts you in the top 25%.

>late 20's
>about 80k as well (some of that gained via stocks this year)
>unemployed

I really want to strike it big on stock options guys. Don't want to wagecuck ever again and I'd love to be able to have my parents and siblings retire immediatrly with comfort.

you got that high paying job right?

if you have any positive net worth you're doing better than a vast majority of people

kek, im 39 with about 100k networth and childsupport bills for 12 more years. Dont feel so bad, play yr cards right and youll retire early.

Consolation prize of wagecucking at government job, pension at 55, plus I pay nothing for dental while I watch neets lose their teeth.

Feels good man.
