I wish that was the case so she wasn't a boring waste of time.
I also wish that during her route in 0 when Okabe refused to delete her memory data and the gang gets captured, the captors could refine the brainwashing process which effectively turned her into Kurisu with big tits after she ran away from Suzuha. Furthermore, they could have made the first scene of that route play out as: after Okabe comes to his senses when timelines change, Kurisu 2.0 could enter the laboratory and "Messenger" would start playing in the most goosebump inducing manner. Okabe soon accepts this situation and retires because he now has Kurisu + her fat fucking milkers and ass. Way better of a route and an ending which makes you ask a lot of questions than that overdramatized BS if you ask me.

I guess it’s an unpopular take, but I liked this change in the movie, desu. If she never fully remembers it’s impossible for the two of them to ever truly be on equal footing, which is a bummer. I know she has the dreams etc but it’s not the same.

To each his own, but that literally made Okabe all the more useless as a character. It was what made him unique in the world of Steins;Gate, and while Kurisu had most of the brains, she was basically dependent on Okabe giving her the info she may/may not need to know.
Her getting reading steiner didn't put them in the same league for me, it just gave Kurisu a power she didn't really need.
