If the route turns out to be shit, then I'll call it shit and join you in crying. If it turns out to be really good then I will call it good and so on. I, too, like many anons, was caught off guard because of such a large timeskip, since in the main story there are many points from which you could move and make the route wonderful. But that doesn’t mean that I’m going to cry over the introductory fucking chapter. Just have patience and see what the 22i creates or destroys.

Are people really complaining about the route starting with a timeskip? It always seemed like one of the more obvious possibilities given that Nariyuki wanted to be a teacher and Mafuyu is one. Them working together always seemed like of the most likely ways to start the route.

I agree. Everything for this route is going to hinge on their actual romantic interaction. If 22i really is going with a past present and future setup, how he links everything in relation to their dynamic is important. I hope 22i does something with Mafuyu's sloppiness and that their relationship during Nariyuki's college days is sensible.
