Kishi copied HxH, while Kubo copied YYH.
It's funny how all roads lead to Togashi at the end of the day.

I always forget that Kishi needs an editor to check his storytelling, but when it comes to drawing, the way he needs to be restrained is by making him draw the thing, otherwise he tends to overdesing everything (Naruto's goggles, Sasuke's wearing a decorated necklace as a memenot to his family)

I wish more writers had the chance to take some time off so they can make a better story on the long run. I haven't rad BtW but I think Okubo made it into a seasonal manga? if that's true then good for him, people shoulden't

the problem was the art, probably 60% of readers didn't even finish the first chapter because it was such a pain.

Kubo copied Saint Seiya much more than YYH.

Kubo is a once in a generational era talented creator. He just cracks and collapses under the pressure of deadlines and editorial expectations. Just literally let him do his thing at his own comfortable pace and he'll give you masterpiece after masterpiece.
