It's less that and more the fact that there is no point in having a character to become female if they won't use their new body to the fullest.
Also, yuri is shit in general.

It's only arrow straight if both are TF girls, otherwise it's at least half gay.

I honestly like it more when it's more about comedy or funny situations involving it rather than just romance about "guy learning that he should be a woman forever and marry his best bud".
A main reason why I like Ranma the most even if GB isn't the main focus most of the time.
That being said, I like that one series by Eroe.

There are two good ways to do GB content, imo. Either you do a really focused deep dive on the character that has been transformed and the existential problems that come from both having your body changed into one that is incredibly unfamiliar to you and which legally doesn't exist, making you a sort of accidental un-person who who has to rebuild their life.
Or you lean heavy into the sex fantasy of a man driving around the body of a hot chick, willingly or no. Glossing over the existential drama and instead focusing purely on the physical stimulation and opportunities afforded to a dude that is experiencing the female form from the other side and coming to terms with that.
You are best off not crossing these two streams, because one is inherently serious and the other is just for fun.

Genderbending in anime only ever seems to want to do it as a spin on romantic comedy. The sort of thing where its basically just a gag. Ranma probably set the precedent there. Aside from that all you have are short doujins that, due to their length, all basically read the same because when you only have 15 pages there just isn't time for much else besides "Here's a guy, oh wow he's a girl now, quick toss in someone to sex him and then they sex. The end."

I actually meant impregnation, but also it's less a fetish as it doesn't excite me sexually and more a fascination with a miracle of producing a new life.
