Omg this. Something I keep seeing is that people keep calling this a rip off of the monogatari series and haruhi suzumiya or a blatant paste for what I call idiotic reasons. First I would like to state that I love the monogatari series and haruhi suzumiya was alright but I did not love it.

One example I see thrown around is how mai is a rip off hitagi and the only connection that is made is that both of them have abusive mothers, and thats it. They both go at it in different ways, one being how showbiz makes the child\mother relationship more of a product while the others deals with religious cults. I don't see this as a rip off in any way just because of one similarity, its ridiculous.

Apparently complete dialogues are copy and paste, yet I have not seen any comparisons, just told this which while I love the monogatari series with a passion, I don't remember every exact word of dialogue, but I did not see any plagiarism but I did see similarities.
I keep seeing rants of how the characters all terrible( I get the criticism of futaba) and the whole situation of how quantum physics work( not an expert, but I see kids pretending to be scientist on certain concepts of bunny girl senpai that actually do make sense).

I understand that probably half the hate(not critism, I have seen really good criticism that has changed my view on the anime and pointed out flaws that I did not encounter on first watch) is from the toxic elitist part of the monogatari fandom which is like 5-7% but its still crazy. I think the reason may be because bunny girl senpai has a higher rating and higher position on MAL along with its similar to monogatari but I just found it all idiotic.
