Hina ending was the only logical conclusion.
The way it happened though was stupid and felt forced because the author insisted on pleasing the Ruifags to the very last moment.
She should've spent more time on rebuilding the relationship between Natsuo and Hina instead of having him fuck around with Rui some more in boring filler chapters after they broke up.
That way Hina winning would’ve had a better emotional payoff and the stupid decade long coma wouldn’t have been necessary at all.
