is this part of animator dormitory project or crowdfunding by stupid white gaijin trying to take advantage of paypigs and then pay the animators low price?
This looks asinine, poorly thought out and likely a scam.
Explain to me how 45k pays animator(s) fairly
Why is there so many daddies here?
>is this part of animator dormitory project
Yes, though the whole kickstarter comes off as some "WE'RE GONNA CHANGE THE ANIME INDUSTRY FOREVER!" bullshit. Basically, they're gonna do what Kyoani does (Except it's still being done by per-frame and not per hour), but their first projects are just gonna be music videos. That's it.
That goal is incredibly low. Even that indie crowdfunding project by some foreign webgen, Otaku-vs, costs like $20,000 for 8 minutes.

Granted, it pays much, much better than what anime industry offers though. I always wish big player like Netflix could change the salary, but the reality is far from that, most of the budget went to other resources like increasing seiyuu's salary, etc.
>Advertising (all forms) is not welcome—this includes any type of referral linking, "offers", soliciting, begging, stream threads, etc.
This isn't advertising.
Also
>announcing a report or sage
In what way is shilling a kickstarter not advertising?
>most of the budget went to other resources like increasing seiyuu's salary, etc.
Why do people blame seiyu for shit like that?
I'm guessing only one of the people in that picture is an accurate caricature.
How is this shilling a kickstarter? They posted a screencap of the kickstarter and asked how Zig Forums feels about it. Do you consider buyfag threads to be shilling and advertising too?
Huh? It's weird, instead making almost unreasonable crowdfunding project like this they should focus on making more low cost animator dormitory in Tokyo. I'd contribute for that. $47,000 isn't going to make it or enough to produce indie music video. I bet semi-big artists like Eve, Mafumafu, Nijisanji, would pay more.
Something like this:
youtube.com
Music Video is time consuming and not easy, rather than making newbies animating music video that they have no experience in, it's better to build a low rent cost dormitory.
Do you not know how advertising works? This isn't a billboard for you to shill your shit on. You may have made the thread with innocent intent, but the fact of the matter is this is straight up advertisement for a crowdfunding project. Don't make threads for that shit.
I wouldn't mind seiyuu earn big cash as long as the animation staff get paid proportionally. However the current state is their wage gap is so disproportionate that it's just kind of too gross to ignore. I blame the music/record label and their agencies for pushing idol oriented seiyuu to earn more cash from paypigs, basically upping and widening that wage gap.
They do have some experienced people working on the project. Including someone who was the animation director of Attack on Titan season 3.
I didn't make the thread user. If you read the thread you'd understand what's going on here. Then again you're probably a 2016 newfag considering how much of a fuss you're making over a thread that's going along smoothy. Also protip: announcing a sage or report is also considered an offense.
No, the crowd funded Dies Irae anime was utter shit.
The pay gap is grossly exaggerated because the chart you're thinking of compares an A-list seiyuu with an inexperienced in-betweener.
Maybe OP should have considered explaining what the fuck he's posting? To anyone who doesn't keep up with any of this stuff it looks like some literal who westerners trying to grab some free money. Nothing in the image indicates otherwise. Nothing in the thread indicates otherwise.
Eh, but those goal though... it's way too low. It bounds to be disaster, remember Under the Dog? Fucking Masahiro Ando and Masahiro Sato, both are god tier animators but the end product was so underwhelming because the retarded producer was too ambitious, the project was beyond their scope, goal too low, production cost kept ballooning, in the end the pre-kickstarter teaser video was much much better quality.
I don't understand, it says anime there but all those characters and the art style itself sure do look quite western.
>wanting to be spoonfed
jesus you really are new huh
Deflection isn't helping your case, user.
It isn't helping yours, either.
Yeah it looks like trash.
This looks western.
maybe the fucking message that's attached to the image he's literally asking a question
All those "characters" ARE western. Take a gander at their music talent. Nothing says new industry standard like some dude known for making the American pokemon theme song.
I don't see anime or manga here, so I conclude this thread is off-topic, therefore it doesn't belong in this board.
"the new anime making system" meaning what exactly? Something that this apparently small project is trying to push all japanese animation studios to adopt (lol)? Or just something that this one small group that I as a random user who wandered into this thread have absolutely no knowledge of and from my immediate impression seems to just be a bunch of westerners looking to fund an animation project while calling it "anime"? Nobody's contradicted that impression, by the way. Why the fuck should anyone care about this?
