Whenever something in the series I'm reading or watching excites me I murmur "this is based" multiple times. If it perturbs me I swap it out for "cringe". Sometimes when I get particularly overwhelmed I get up and pace around while repeating those phrases. Does anyone else do this?
Autistic things you do while reading manga or watching anime
Other urls found in this thread:
no, I'm not autistic
I'll be the one nice user & say that things get better OP, as to whether or not I do, no cause that's rather cringe
OP is a baka ass motherhumper
Please tell me you are underage and not some dude in his 20s. Even I in my early teens wasn't that much of an idiot.
cringed and downvoted
At least OP admitted he has a problem. That's the first step to not doing this anymore, right OP?
Right?
Ahahah based.
Sort of. When something cool happens I raise both my arms up and yell KINOOOOOOOOOO out loud.
It's compulsory: I think I've spent too much time here not talking to real people and now I've subconsciously tied my emotional responses to terms like "based" and "cringe".
>When something cool happens I raise both my arms up and yell KINOOOOOOOOOO out loud.
I do that too sometimes. Maybe not yell though, that would be autistic
I know you're joking but I do speak my thoughts as I'm reading things.
I have never appreciated how based my ability to have underlying feelings that aren't automatically channeled into the based/cringe dichotomy was until now
this
and this but after the episode and not as pronounced
every time an anime tries to make me feel something i start to smile or laugh, doesnt matter what actually happens
Sometimes when something hype happens I scream POGGERS WOOOW.
Yes my neighbour's hate me
I pace back and forth and jump up and down while reenacting scenes that I really liked.
You're here, buddy. Don't lie to yourself.
Sometimes when I see an interesting scene I repeat it as is, inserting myself as one of the characters out loud and even making the same movements and sounds
I imagine music from other anime in certain scenes when reading. For example I imagine this here youtube.com
Go outside.
Only if you'll hold my hand
have a gold, stranger!
Whenever I see a loli outside I try and pat her head. And whenever I see a person who looks older then 12 I refer to her as a "Hag"
I sometimes say "oh that was pretty cool" that's about as far as it goes
Y'know, user, I usually try not to judge people on their eccentricities, but for you, I'll make an exception.
>not standing up and shouting kino
>I considered touching the bridge of my nose with my knuckles when I got hype weird
Thank you Zig Forums.

I spend upwards of half an hour per chapter. I want to appreciate the artwork and soak in what is being conveyed by each panel, if it's not worth appreciating I wouldn't have begun reading it in the first place. I will also put off a new chapter for a series I'm reading for several days until I'm in the perfect mood to enjoy said chapter, sometimes this causes me to be weeks or months behind on some series/shows.
>It's like an autistic speed reader, in reverse.
I too stare at panty shots at 400% magnification.
I know this feeling.
I've found myself getting an urge to say based out loud whenever such a moment emerges in media.
And the worst part is that I'm not even a native English speaker.
sometimes I'll purposefully read left to right to test if it still makes sense for people who don't know you're supposed to read from right to left
>I'm not even a native English speaker.
I'm not at all surprised.
i keep alt tabbing to discord because i hear the "boop" noise BECAUSE I FORGET THE FUCKING MUTE SERVERS. ( its never a dm its always @heres or @everyones )
i do the same thing but it's "hitler... Hitler..." versus "kikes!".
saged and reported because i'm and oldfag
This, except sometimes I end up playing humming tunes from comedy anime while reading action scenes in manga. Sometimes I start getting bored of that too, so I end up humming high-spirited Russian/Balkans folk music while slogging my way through some light novels.
Whenever I see English-translated manga panels posted here on Zig Forums, I try to translate every single sentence "back" to Japanese and usually end up with some weird lines that I know aren't real Japanese but that sounds like it.
