- I think Post-Timeskip One Piece is still as enjoyable as Pre-Timeskip.

- Looking back on the Naruto manga, it's largely better than I expected but it definitely drags at some parts.

- I think it's unfair how JoJo gets a pass for all its bad writing, flat and inconsistent characterization and predictable format, since the set up and pay-offs always feel the same regardless of how creative the situation gets in the meantime other shonen gets shat on by the stuff JoJo does, sometimes worse, just because it was obscure for many years until last decade.

- Isayama is not experienced enough to understand the intricacies of politics, world history, human interaction and various cultures. It takes years of studying and experience before someone can come up with a story like 1984 or Lord of the Rings or even A Song of Ice and Fire. AoT fans have touted him as a genius but a genius doesn't rely on plot twists, flashbacks and plot devices almost every chapter. A genius will use them sparingly and weave it within the story that it is barely noticeable to the reader.

- There's no such thing as "It gets good after X chapters." If a story isn't good from the start it's not a good story.

dunno why. it's worth discussing, but the time i used to eagerly wait for each chapter and worldbuilding reveal, are over.

jojo is just about the surreal/dadaist fights with weirdass powers you'd never see in another medium

Agreed with this. Isayama created a great setting and promising plot but fell flat due to the usual shonen garbage

I kind of agree, but some of my favourite series were just alright at the start and slowly developed into something much more, so I wouldn't be so sure about it.

this is something i agree with. after the reveal of the bigger politics, the manga nosedived for some reason

Do you have any other series that gives you the feeling like the old One Piece? I am asking because maybe it's just that you got older, or other things changed in your life rather than the story.

Haikyuu is legit one of the worst spokon out there

WCI is the best arc in One piece(not sure if this is unpopular)

netflix is saving anime

battle shounen is the best genre in anime if we count the "avarage quality"

Bones is the only good anime studio left right now
