Admit the new Higurashi art style that make the cast look like Monogatari characters is better and makes the girls cuter and sexier.
Admit the new Higurashi art style that make the cast look like Monogatari characters is better and makes the girls...
Best usoda ever
They are cute, I must admit that. God bless Akio Watanabe's artstyle.
i watched the original anime when when i was like 12 should i pick this up?
Rewatch the original and then continue with this one.
is it a remake or what? because i remember the gist of it
sequel. So far, it has been kino
It makes them look like deformed gnomes
Other than the Rika scene in episode 2 so far this hasn't been a sequel of shit. Which makes the Rika scene in episode 2 really stupid because so far since that, despite her saying she wants to fight for the future they already earned, she hasn't done a fucking thing.
Why does every character have a 3 mouth?
The SoL bits look fucking terrible and certain characters look bad too. Yuck.
Was this sequel even needed? Didn't the original have a solid ending where everything was nicely solved and the characters finally escaped the death loop? Not gonna lie, I watched it many years ago so I don't remember it fully well.
it's how it is in the VN, newfag
Deen QUALITY made them scarier looking though.
I honestly don't understand that the Monogatari comparisons that everyone makes.
Anytime I think of Monogatari, I think strong sharp shading, with patterned backgrounds (or defined shapes) and a general avoidance of 3/4th perspectives unless they're dynamic.
I don't feel like I've seen that much in this show.
t. Retard who hasn't been paying attention
Not a single thing is different. Everyone just goes about the script like normal and Rika gives them headpats. You could remove that shitty out of place scene from episode 2 and no one would even be pretending anything's changed.
No, there are some minor differences. The oni-tag game is from a different arc, and some other random events like that, but the main arc is pretty much Onikakushi down to the USO DA! and everything. There have been only two sparks that make this different and the first is the aforementioned Rika scene and a brief scene where K1 remembers something he shouldn't have from a previous iteration. But this isn't called Onikakushi but Onidamashi, but right now the meta of that is the only hint that something different is going to happen. "Onidamashi" "demon deceiving", and I am waiting for the deception part (which is going to be R07 jerking around the audience somehow), but right now it is not profoundly different.
I still prefer Deen. I'll give Nu-Higu points for the credits designs though. All the girls look phenomenal here.
>I still prefer Deen
kill yourself secondary
Based retard
>Everyone just goes about the script like normal
If you understood what the events that lead to the end game actually are, you'd realize that the circumstances behind Tomi and Takano's disappearance alone means something went terribly awry. Moreover, there are clear differences in the character's mental states that flip the script as to what Keichi is imagining and what is really happening.
It looks silly.
How does me liking the older shows designs vs the new one make me a secondary?
It's because the artstyle makes the characters look like Hachikuji.
They definitely reused assets from monogatari. Kaiki's mouth, math, snail, and cats face.
I don't care for it
No bro, there haven't only been "minor" differences. Some of them are rather major if you look into their consequences.
Why does it feel like all the budget went into making Satoko the prettiest character of the bunch?
Are they seriously counting on the lolicons to keep things afloat?
deen higurashi is iconic and this remake is a souless monogatari clone
DEEN's designs were unfaithful to the VN
