I reached episode 44 in my viewing of Vanguard 2018 less than a hour before watching this episode of IF, and I got so fucking hype for both of them. On one hand, I wish I had gotten into this franchise sooner because it's been so good, but on the other hand, watching the main Vanguard series alongside IF has given me such a unique experience that I wouldn't trade for anything.
I'm glad Ibuki is back and we can use that version again, but since Kai is a main character now too, we should keep the second version handy too.
