>build up Madara for hundreds of episodes
>decide to switch him up with some alien shitter that never drew a ding-dong diddly dime in her life
What was the point? They had to make like 20 episodes in the middle of the series finale just to explain her backstory
Build up Madara for hundreds of episodes
Most audiences kept complaining (and still do) about predictable shit in their entertainment and this is what resulted: writers feeling compelled to try to surprise the audience at every turn in spite of common sense, basic writing ability, and even the satisfaction of their audience.
Kaguya is the result of this tendency.
The ending was rushed, that's all there is to it. Kaguya came out of nowhere introducing the ayys, which explained everything from the sages, the tailed beasts, chakra, where ninja came from, all of it, AND set up for future villians if there was a continuation. It was all perfectly planned to redeem Madara and the Uchiha, while also explaining away everything in the story. The ONLY problem with it was the rush job and not allowing Madara to help fight in some manner at the end.
And not to mention they gave the MC's hax powerups just to fight the alien demon.
So you have a fight between complete strangers. 2 characters using powers we've never seen before, and an alien demon monster we've never seen before.
le epic tweest
The ending was fine. The fact that Madara really wasn't this super amazing mastermind and that even he was just a pawn and the fact that Naruto and Sasuke broke the cycle is a great redemption story.
In fact, after recently rewatching the series, it parallels a lot of classic literature.
There's like at least 7 different parallels to the Bible and other ancient creation accounts. It even incorporates Japanese mythology such as the rabbit pounding rice cakes on the moon.
Just because it was rushed and makes your erection for Madara seem stupid, doesnt mean it was bad.
>There's like at least 7 different parallels to the Bible and other ancient creation accounts
You don't believe me or you think I'm up to Jewish tricks?
Kill yourself narutard.
OK but will you deny that Madara's appearance and power was properly built up with a satisfying display?
I feel like we saw plenty of Madara's skills and badassery.
I mean there were like 30 episodes of him just shitting on all 5 kage at once. And controlling the tailed beasts. And surviving Guy's assault. And holding his own against Naruto and Sasuke.
What more do you want?
It was literally just to set up a Naruto Ball GT, Boruto. That's it.
Kishi's references are pretty surface level, calling shit "Amaterasu" or "Izanagi" is as blatant as naming characters Matthew, Marl, Luke, and John.
this nigger got 1000 different powerups in one arc alone
by the end its like 10% his power and 90% outside help
1. The idea of having two brothers who take different paths and cause striff for all of mankind is like Jacob and Essau. A major diving point between Islam and Judaism. Also I believe Egyptian folklore has a story about two brothers who cause a massive divide (the sun of Ra? Idk, I can't remember the stuff I glanced over in college well)
2. The story in Asura's history where 2 women are fighting over a baby and he decides who the real mother is, is straight up from king Solomon
3. The idea of a giant tree of life is apparent in everything from the Bible to viking lore (I believe ymirrih, or something like that)
Those are just ones I remember.
Im not talking about blatant references like names, im talking about the core background of the Naruto universe is an interesting spin using many great religious, folklore, and mythological tales.
Nerd
Arigothank you desu.
I'd call you a virgin, but you're a Christian so you'd probably take it as a complement
>>There's like at least 7 different parallels to the Bible and other ancient creation accounts.
imagine actually thinking this
Have fun tipping your fedora and sipping on that gamer girl bath water you degenerate simp. I'd say have a good life, but you obviously will because ignorance is bliss, and you sir are definitely one of the dumbest anons to reply to me.
"Have fun being a virgin because you're a Christian. Hahaha"
>what is marriage?
Also, why do you assume I am a Christian? I've studied mythology, history, Islam, and am not an autistic 16 year old spergelord.
"He knows things about religion!! Hahha dumb christcuck!!"
You should try reading something other than your self written Sonic fan stories.
See this post There's references to lots of other things throughout Naruto. You'd have to be either blind or have never read anything outside of manga to have noticed not noticed them. Excuse me for being well rounded enough to actually recognize the things the creators tip their hat to.
>Reddit spacing
>"MUH EDUKASHUN" pseud bullshit reading too much into fucking shitty ass Naruto of all things
>triggered by a "virgin christfag" comment
This is too good
>What was the point? They had to make like 20 episodes in the middle of the series finale just to explain her backstory
So you're watching the anime then? Now realize that those episodes were filler so the manga is actually even worse in this regard
Does the manga not even explain her origin?
Half of it was bullshit that he didnt deserve and the other half was stupidity for not using his already established abilities more.
And Kishi couldnt even figure out a way to satisfyingly defeat him
(Or maybe he didnt want to so people could keep wanking Madara)
I think he is saying the manga goes into much further detail?
Idk, I can't remember, I read it like 7 years ago.
But I wouldn't say its filler. It makes sense of all the family bloodlines and explains pretty much everything.
Madara read a stone tablet he found in his basement and based his ideology and goals off that. It was always obvious that he was a fraud.
>And Kishi couldnt even figure out a way to satisfyingly defeat him
Madara was getting raped by Naruto and Sasuke. Madara was cut in half by a simple sword strike from Sasuke and his strongest attacks were easily being destroyed.
Fair enough
I will admit that my memory of that whole fight is a bit of a blur.
What I remember strongest is Kishi himself saying he'd written himself into a corner.
That interview with Kishimoto about him not knowing how Madara could be beaten was fake.
How the fuck was Madara even revived when Sasuke is his reincarnation as well as Indra's.
The absolute state of nu-Zig Forums
They aren’t exactly “reincarnations” as much as Indra and Ashura’s chakra attaching itself to the descendants who resemble them most. The other explanation might be that Madara and Hashirama were no longer considered reincarnations since they’re dead.
It would have been better for Kaguya to be the main villain for Boruto, that way you can build up the lore in the next series instead of shoehorning it all in at the last minute.
