Light was just a mass murderer.
All those guys who were guilty had already been convicted. Society and law had determined their fate. Anything further is just vigilanteism.
There were probably a lot of innocent people among the thousands he killed too.
It's good the series didn't go too far into Lights phony pseudo morality. Having the whole concept of "Kira" come from the public was ultimately a much better choice for driving personae.
L was based af.
Light was pretty cringy but they complemented eachother really well.
Light's dad.
WHOLESOME AND FILIAL.
Just imagine how many black people he disproportionately killed.
>5'6''
What a fucking manlet.
His dad
Light was a maniac, but nothing wrong with indiscrimitate killing of recidivist criminals, world is a cleaner, better place by the end of a story, even if light is a criminal himself.
L just uses justice system to kill people, instead of a death note.
Death note wasn't really about right or wrong, there's no clear bad guys, or good guys in story.
>Death note wasn't really about right or wrong,
It's a story about everyone and their moms reaping the consequences of having a weapon of mass murder being handed to a child, the oneshot was just a bit more clear about it.
Light. The man fixed everything wrong with the world, from war to inequality. And he didn’t even have to commit genocide to accomplish it!
To claim anything he did was wrong is just moral cowardice.
Light, L, and Near are all operating on the same frequency. All of them know that it's not about who's good and who's bad, it's just about who wins.
The good people are the side characters.
L. Light was a fag. What kind of homo gets caught when using untraceable magic artifact? He could have done more good with the Death Note rather play punisher and he wasn't even good at it.
>5'11''
I bet he's taller than you, and more capable of comprehending numbers
I love how people opinion on light really changed from "he did nothing wrong he was le hero kira banzai" to "mass murdering fag lol"
and that's a good thing
I always thought that he was wrong but the two epilogue chapters that try to hammer the idea that Light was special strong willed and smart person that made the best used of the Death Note really made soured my view of Light.
Ultimately the story is a critique of the morality of the death penalty, the notion of excessive retribution and the trust we place in the justice system. And once you consider how dysfunctional the Japanese justice system is, even a child can immediately see that Light was wrong and just a dumb teenager with blind faith in that broken justice system.
Death Note is a story that doesn't conceptually work outside Japan.
Obviously L. But I still wanted Light to win.
and that's the thing. The death note couldn't have gotten in the hands of a better person than Light and even then, it spawned a mass murdering psychopath.
The friends we killed along the way.
Everybody keeps shitting on Light for falling for L's trap because everyone else would already know that is a bad idea.
He looks lanky as in the anime though.
Japan barely has any crime tho
because they're corrupt as shit. murders are classified as suicides if there isn't a foreigner or easy solve. convictions done purely on coerced (aka physical abuse) confessions. sexual crimes, child abuse etc all covered up because 'brings shame'.
Most of that happens here in the west too retard.
and?
Replace socio-economic with racial reasons.
In a society that is designed to be racist, the racial is the socioeconomic.
Are you implying niggers are commiting half the violent crimes despite being 13% of the population because they are being discriminated against?
Not the guy you are discussing with but, don't you amerisharts have like, 3920934394 videos on youtube of police officers and white assholes harassing inocent niggas? lol
>Are you implying niggers are commiting half the violent crimes despite being 13% of the population because they are being discriminated against?
I mean, basically.
I could explain it in more complex words, but that wouldn't convince you, because you're a Zig Forumsdittor.
also it's not 13%/50% but closer to 13%/30%.
the actions of individuals are irrelevant to what I am saying
