It makes sense if it's someone overpowered vs someone weaker. I know if I got into a street fight with someone and they basically teleported behind me, "h-he's fast!" would definitely be something I think in fear.
But if everyone can teleport behind everyone else, then it's not exactly a noticeable thing so there's no reason to act like it's something so out of the ordinary.

This. The manga is nothing special but a lot of people let the adaptation cloud their judgment.

Eren, his only true exceptional quality is his tenacity.
Denji, only cool thing about him is what particular demon he has. His fighting ability isn't really head and shoulders above others, in many situations its worse.

When someone makes a character not like this see for example Subaru you guys cry about how weak he is and he's a bad character make up your fucking mind until you get out of the "I'm an anime consiaour" mentality you will enjoy nothing.

You don't realize it but if there wasn't any commentary every five seconds, most fights would be the most bland and boring shit to watch. These fight scenes with no commentary really only work when there's a lot of emotional build up with the characters and those fights are done sparingly to keep their impact.

It's funny, because in general that describes Sakuragi, but Sakuragi's a great protag. Maybe Sena? He only really ever gets better at his one thing instead of branching out into other areas, though you could say he does improve quickly and in key moments.

What? Nearly every character in black clover’s black bulls has an arc that makes sense and they stay relevant throughout the entire adventure. The main female protagonist is more of a character than the demon loli. Asta for the record is more based than Tangicuck and has more logical character progressions that aren’t skipped over with a fucking time skip. Him being annoying is a character flaw that’s knowledge by other characters and actually works to make him more believable.

Asta is annoying but that's the point, with basically everyone acknowledging that fact. He gets better over time, especially with the reveal of why he's so loud.

Plus it respects its females enough to give them time to shine alongside the dudes, which is always a plus.
