I cashed out when I had a million. Should have had more. Now I'm still holding some syscoin, chainlink and btc because nothing replaces the dopamine hits of gambling like a degenerate.

Early into bitcoin. Even earlier into eth. i have about exactly 1 million right now and at the top I was at about 6-7. I'm extremely bullish on 3 projects right now... link, cro and hex.
The moment I came in contact with Bitcoin and I actually understood the technology and the potential I stopped smoking cigarets, drinking alcohol, going to the club, buying expensive clothes, going on vacations, ordering out food and cancelled every monthly subscription that I could save money on. So no more TV, low cost phone subscription etc etc.
I started selling stuff in the house that was a luxury or I didn't use often like television, playstation, jewellery etc etc.
Cut off all contact with family and friends and put all spare time and energy in Bitcoin and the crypto scene, started to learn more about economics, no more fast food so spend time cooking my diner my self, took a subscription to the library and started reading a shitload related to economics and finance and was in the gym every day for at least an hour and started doing meditation after waking up and before going to sleep.
This started all in 2011 and this took me til 2017 and now I am set for life, took a lot of energy, time and sacrifice but it was all worth it.

As someone who is retired early, this is not ENTIRELY true. You do get bored fairly easily sitting at home all day doing nothing after a few weeks, but you don't HAVE to work if you don't want to. I spend my time maintaining my homestead and pursuing hobbies I didn't have time for (I'm learning to draw and code, I'd like to make a video game at some point but right now I'm just content learning something creative).
Yes. From what we hear, XRP needs to be 4 figures to work well with the bank transfers. You have to remember that SWIFT is transferring trillions per day, XRP could do that in a couple of minutes. It has to be some ridiculous amount. I'm not going to stop buying until it's 100 bucks per xrp.

i failed high school because i skipped class to play video games and smoke weed. my time was split between video game forums and i used to really like to argue. i got my shit pushed in on the regular but through that i was able to obtain sound reasoning principles and use them to figure out who is right and who is wrong. i'm not very smart myself, but i am good at figuring out who is and who i should listen to. i just followed the advice of people i thought were smart and it paid off.

We rarely use marketcap as any kind of indicator. Not sure why you guys put so much stock into it, cryptos are a different beast to shares in a company.

Thank you, yeah nobody looks at bitcoin anymore, it's kind of become the "China Coin", especially with the tensions between the US and China. If Trump made bitcoin illegal the price would crash. The Chinese have raided mining farms before, I don't see why they wouldn't do the same again and launch some 51% attacks.
