Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal user can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.
However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The superpowered characters all trying their hardest to look cool, the jutsus, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole ninja faggotry and everything about the Naruto world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on revenge, and overall preachiness of the series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies and underageb& retards eat this shit right the fuck up. Naruto is basically THE series to attract the most hated anime fanbase known to Zig Forums, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every user to troll the fuck out of this show and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Naruto threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.

She'l be just like daddy was depending on how she hears the truth her parents and Naruto really need to tell her before someone else does. Remember how fast Sasuke himself flew off the handle when he learned about Itachi being in the village from overhearing? Then how much worse it got thanks to Orochimaru playing at his insecurity issues and how promises of power drove him to abandon the village and try to kill Naruto and that's when he was his daughter's age, we all know what happened after that.
Through this is the anime, they probably can't do something that major until the manga does it, that is if Sasuke and Naruto survive their boss battle that's been tailored to finally kill them both off so the world will once again plunge into war
Really is interesting how Sarada has the better potential as a main character than Boruto yet it's not her story it's his and she's not a major part of it, Kawaki is.

I think it's fine for Boruto to not do something as edgy as what Naruto did.
I thought this episode was really good with Sarada/Sakura/Sasuke's scene. It set up some development for Sarada's sharingan, gave Sasuke a problem he's been needing to deal with (how to not have the Uchiha be psychos anymore), and some good parent moments for Sakura. It was one of the better scenes of Boruto keeping the stakes low. I think it was a very fitting tone for how the characters approached the issue, and I'd like to see the writers do more of it.
