Which is a better buy? I only have 7k USD. Pic related is for sale: >Subaru XV Crosstrek 2014 168,500 miles, 6,300$- have to drive 6 and a half hours away to acquire it Or >2012 Subaru Outback with 148,000 miles on it, cost 6,000 USD- have to drive and hour and a half time buy it
Which would you do Zig Forums and do you have any other suggestions for reliable comfy cars in the 5-7k range? >
You going to spend $7,000 for a car with 150,000 miles? You fucking dolt.

you live in either vermont or colorado.... prove me wrong

desu the used car market is fucked

>paying $6000 usd for cars that have 150k miles and above
Why? And why only subarus? But anyway, condition is everything for a used car with high millage. Buy whichever has been best maintained and won't require new tires/brakes and whatnot

Subaru last up until 400,000 sometimes. If it was any other brand I would not buy anything above 100,000 miles. But Subaru's are priced accordingly in the used car market because they last long.

>why subarus
They are one of the only vehicles that last a long time usually up to 400k miles or more. They are comfy, roomy and have space in the trunk and roof rack. Plus every time I look at a car made above the 2010's they all look incredibly dooshy and try hard. Especially the sedans. I have driven Hyundais for years and I feel that Japanese cars are reliable and well made. I have only seen problems and cuckoldery from fords, chevys etc. Subarus aren't try hard and are roomy as fuck, comfy and low key. The only problem is that people see you as a yuppie for driving one but fuck those people anyway

i bought a used gx460. such a comfy ride and very capable. Look into a used one. anything under 200k mileage is still "new"

That's a steal. What year? A few years ago, I paid 6k for my 2003 w/ 160k miles.
Thomas Rodriguez
Both sound pretty solid. Subaru engines from that time period can fail, though. My dad's 2013 needed a total engine replacement. A Honda CR-V from that time period would certainly do you well.
Benjamin Murphy
go ask /o/ they would know more

Where my Toyota Auris /girls/ at?
Grayson Hughes
Look for a car with less miles, you're buying a potential moneypit also the used car market is fucked rn, if you can wait a few months you could save a lot of money

Live in the PNW, crosstreks have become super popular. I own a forester though, take a look at those. more room and cheaper price. Don’t think I’d get a Subaru with that many miles though.

Your literally retarded nigga. Head gasket issues are still a thing. Secondary air valve systems fail often. I had a Sti for 6 years.
If you went something reliable buy a Toyota or n/a Honda.

>Hyundai >Japanese user

That's why I'm asking on here. Toyotas and hondas look like sh it and are not comfy. But thanks for the suggestion.
