Tropes you love

>Romance manga about a love triangle.
>main plot is about how ruthless and underhanded the girls can be to win the MC.
>side plot is about how the girls’ friendship with each other is deteriorating due to vying for the same man’s love and attention.
>The ending also talks about the loser and how they most likely stop contacting the MC and the winner.
Any specific tropes you love, Zig Forums?

>character let's go off his traumatic past and finds peace, success and happiness
I’m a sucker for redemption.

>MC's best bro doesn't take any shit from the tsundere bitch of the series

>The badass old man trope

>character is fatally wounded
>survives long enough to completely stonewall the bad guys and ruin his plans.

Bad guys piss of main character cause they think he's weak.
Get BTFOd hard
Beg for their life
Main kills them wihtout hesitation

>villain defeats hero (or vice versa) once and for all
>is saddened when they realize that the person they just destroyed was the closest thing they had to a friend

>The bad guys fight each other

>final fight is a fist fight

I honestly don’t know what’s worse? Idealized romance or “realistic” romance like this. Both of them are obviously fictional but I just can’t stand shit like this trying and failing to be realistic. No fucking way any women do this.

Pure, unconditional love
>"If Shido wants me, then I'll gladly give my everything to him. To become his lover, kiss him, have sex with him, marry him, give birth to as many babies as he wants, grow old together with him. But, even if Shido chooses someone other than me, I won't mind. If Shido thinks to marry Tobiichi-san, I'll bless him with all my heart. Of course, it also applies for other person as well. Even if Shido chooses Tohka-chan, Kotori-chan, Yoshino-chan or perhaps someone that I don't know. Of course, I don't mind if he doesn't choose to be with anyone, or even if he chooses everyone I'll support his wish. I'll do anything for Shido's happiness. If Shido wishes it, I'll grant any of his wish. I don't mind becoming his childhood friend, his lover, his wife, his younger sister, his older sister, his mother, his daughter, his superior, his subordinate, his enemy, his nemesis or even someone unrelated to him. As long as Shido is happy, I'm satisfied....Oh sorry, it seems I got too worked up by myself. But it is true that I don't mind whoever Shido chooses."

My favorite trope isn't really common in Zig Forums romance regardless of demographic to be worth mentioning.
One of my lesser favorites that's fairly common in villainess stuff is the "Aged Seductress" subtrope of "The Matriarch" archetype. The woman that knows love is a battlefield. She's seen it all and is a very serious, savvy threat to the protagonist because she didn't float up to her position by dumb luck or accident.

>Goofy character is the strongest

Those are two love rivals though.

When the MC gets to his limits and pushes beyond them whilst the most epic music is played in the background and you can see how damaged he is yet puts up one final fight. Love it even when he loses. It's the ambition to give more than all.
Mostly because that's the opposite of me.

Man, if only mangas and anime actually did that. I actually wish mangakas really did that.

They’re a few mangas that deal with that, though ironically, they aren’t actually romcoms.

Don’t know why you guys even want it? I thought anime and manga was supposed to be Wish fulfillment. Why ruin it by bringing realism into it.

>rivals are in love with each other

Oyakodon!

>Rival character is the opposite sex as the MC
The tears of fujos sustain me.

>Literally fucking WEEKS LATER and he’s STILL trying to shill this random 2 chapter doujin by posting it through these threads

What the fuck? Are you actually being paid for this or something? What particle generates such insane autism towards a single low quality fap story?

>Rival character portrayed as an effiminate male all throughout the manga with girlish tendencies
>last arc reveals the rival to be a girl the whole time
I'd cum buckets from the fujo meltdown such a thing would cause.

It would out-Kubo Kubo. The tears will be delicious.

I like it when the protagonist fucks the villain.

If it happens at all. Most times in nekketsu or other genres of boys manga a girl "rival" is just a hate-to-love heroine, and the real rival some other boy who comes afterwards.
Plus if you like that dynamic you'll be more than happy to dive into actiony shoujo manga. They almost always have a dynamic like that somewhere.

So fruits basket. You're just describing fruits basket, fujo meltdown and all.
