I was amused to find out that when you search this story's name in Japanese the first autocomplete result that pops up is

And the top Amazon reviews are all lambasting the MC for being a selfish asshole screwing over all the other survivors.

The manga just completely glosses over it all too.
Also the author completely rewrote the second volume of the WN and turned a minor villain monster tamer girl who backstabs everyone and then gets eaten by her own tamed monster into another heroine.
