Dude, chill the fuck out. It's an ad network, sometimes, like right now, ads are at historical lows. Google, and Microsoft just showed one of the weakest quarters ever for ads. It's industry-wide. It's corona related. As a Brave user and a BAT bag holder, let me be the first to say I was well aware that BAT, as a transactional token for purchasing network use of the BRAVE Ad network, understood that a central risk in investing in a BAT bag was that network use could drop and therefore the value of the bag. That's partially why I hedge that risk in BAT/ETH on Uniswap in the form of a maker-pool. Just settle down, my guy. The Ad Network will be there tomorrow and I'm sure that even as Corona causes widespread economic effects, we will experience economic changes [to adjust to the new market conditions], and economic recovery. Likewise, however, the senate judiciary meeting to discuss an antitrust case against Google, Brave's largest advertising competitor, is HUGE news for the whole advertising industry. It's a positive sign, and for that [and other] reason[s], I'm overwhelmingly bullish.

I've received ads today, but OP is correct that ADs for today are extremely slow. I've had my browser open all day and typically receive my max 5 ads an hour. It's for the reasons I detail here:
Essentially, it's corona related and other ad businesses like Google are seeing the same impact.

I've been using coinbase for the longest time, and recently switched over to uphold because they aren't charging fees at the moment. Wondering if there are better options out there.

I deposit USD in to Coinbase as USDC for $0 fee, then I trade on uniswap for most things. Sometimes, if I'm making a small trade and the gas fee is high [like now], I'll just execute my trades on Coinbase Pro after waiting for my USDC deposit to clear, so that my fees are as low as possible. That's my method and it works for me. I trust Coinbase and I want to reward an American company for treading the [at the time they were founded] murky legal waters of being an American exchange. I was a Mt Goxer that lost a lot when Mt Gox went under so I am VERY careful about who I trade with.

And, just an afterthought, that should be near and dear to you who invest in foreign projects: Keep in mind the bankruptcy laws of that country and the dangers of the country's laws/regulations. When I lost my ass in Mt Gox, I never envisioned spending years in horrifying litigation to not get back my money in Japanese God damned Bankruptcy court. Please, learn my lesson without having to experience it: Be careful who you trust your money to. If at all possible never hold your bags on exchange: Hold them in your wallet.

My advice: Don't play the capital gains game with BAT tokens, Instead, participate in a market-making pool like Uniswap or Bancor, or if you're more comfortable executing market making orders on your own, just set limit orders on both sides of the trade at a % difference from the mid-market price every day; you'll make money no matter which way the market swings.
