Welp you already posted the only thing that comes to my mind.

Still pissed about pic related.

Beet the vandal buster.
I haven't read it in years but as soon as I saw the thread I remembered it immediately.

It got the axe?

Yeah, fucking thing sucks.

The raws continued until chapter 16 then it was announced that it (and I think even the LN it was based on) got axed so the scanlation group just straight-up dropped it. Hope they or another one at least scanlate the last two chapters though.

This sucks ass, I really liked the manga.
Still, thanks for the info.

The Japanese cold is a bitch.

im really glad it got a nice ending at the very least.

I'm still sad

I hope his new work won't follow the same fate

It showed the author planned the plot from the beginning had a clear ending in mind. It really had the potential to become something big. It drives me mad thinking about how it was shot in the foot.

super tall big booby mountain spirit wolf wife keeping her little manlet ninja husband safe.

>starting a manga with a similar plot to Kimetsu no Yaiba just when it's anime was starting

The most unfortunate timing.

Any Onio manga, I wonder what became of him

Act Age

Must have been a real dick or something to get axed that fast in that many different mags.

The king of hype.

It's the weirdest shit. All he does is good, yet everything gets canned.

Damn that fucking sucks.

Shindere Shoujo to Kodoku na Shinigami (pic related). Author died, so the central mystery has been lost to time.

I still miss the dork...

Literally only his art was good. His stories were generic "there's a boy and a girl and they're connected in X gimmick way and then, uh, yeah that's it."

Mx0, 07 Ghost, Aflame Inferno, Blazer Drive, Black Sun.
Most stuff is just on infinite hiatus though.

I came in here to post that
A crying shame.

Samurai 8

I never see threads for that despite how popular torako was how frequently the chapters are being translated.

New manga seems to be a bit more serious than Torako ever was. Some people might not like the tone shift compared to his previous work. It kinda reminds of how this comfy alien cooking manga got axed and the author went on to create a yuri series about a evil magical girl wearing pasties.

>alien cooking manga
Hmm, never heard of it, is it worth a read?
Art looks cute.

>be good fantasy story
>get the axe
>be good isekai
>also get the axe
Japan consistently reminds me of their shit taste.

Beet however didn't die and has been running in Jump SQ/SQ Rise for the past years.

Eh, I dumped the first two chapters months ago. This was when translation stopped after the second one. The group mentioned something about waiting for the volume to continue but that never happened.

Now this is also a tragedy since it was the author dying that ended the series.
