Uhm yes. Do you know the amount of heat and radiation a nuke releases?

Humans are stronger than Nen.

the blast alone didn't even kill him retard did you even read/watch the series?

Imagine if the ants never happened and Netero just died of old age one day and took out a city.

It's kino.

I want to have my first kiss with Pitou!

HxH is overrated but the nuke is kino.

They should've sent a hunter with poison hatsu.

Didn't he get it implanted because of the ants as a backup option?

He got the bomb implanted before the mission because the V5 demanded it. He wasn't walking around with a nuke in him.

Radiation poisoning actually made sense. Even with humans it takes a while to kill you and this nigga stood in the center of the fucking blast. The thing is once you get hit by enough radiation that your body can't fight it you're done. Your body will just turn itself inside out like the most grotesque horror movie.

Isn't fusion the most energetic process in the universe? He should have been completely vaporized by initial blast, unless it was fission bomb.

he basically was until his fagbois dashed to the bomb site and feed him their own bodies
does anyone actually know what happened in the Chimera Ant Arc? LMAO

>togashi is a hack
you got that right.
hiatuscucks are too entrenched in their onions to admit it.

You're dumb

He died because he got corona'd. Get your facts checked, OP.

You're an absolute retard modern nukes can or come close to wiping out an entire city. go back to school before you say stupid shit

Is there any series that fucked up the power scaling faster than HxH?

No one actually watched/read it, user.

The idea is, weapons make a weak human stronger. IE tool use is our secret skill that filthy subhuman ants can't use

Yes?
Hundreds.

Hunter X Hunter's power scaling is incredibly consistent. Only speed reading spergs think otherwise.

You don't think that the jump between "This man is skilled and dangerous" in Greed Island and "Humanity has no chance, gotta nuke it" in the Chimera Ant arc is absurd?

What I found dumb is, why didn't they have any of the Zodiacs take care of Meruem? I bet Ging could've done it easily. Hell I bet even Cheedle or Pariston could do it

Yes because the power level of HxH characters is significantly less than that of a nuke. He survives partially intact anyway and is killed by poison, but you will probably complain about that too because you're a powerlevel autist who rates series by how le strong the characters are rather than by how good the writing is

Worse than filthy subhumans, there were some indications that they may have supported communism. One nuke was not enough.

Meruem, Netero and the guards are, in terms of raw power, above all the characters in the series. The power scaling actually dies down again after that. Also, Meruem could probably be defeated by sub-nuclear means, but it was the final option if Netero could not win and they did not want to take any chances. I mean, why not use a nuke if you can?

Not at all, the story isn't some linear progression of enemies getting stronger and stronger. And that's a good thing.
Rather than "Vegeta's stronger than Raditz, Frieza's stronger than Vegeta, Cells stronger than Frieza, Buu's stronger than Cell"

The characters in the Chimera Ant arc don't just get stronger and beat the bad guys, who have their immense power clearly explained by the fact that they're the amalgamations of thousands of people. They have various characters fighting the antagonists at once just to avoid being one-shot, every second counting.

And with Gon vs. Pitou, it's a matter of sacrificing your life and all of your potential just to grow strong enough to beat your opponent.

I'm all for criticism of the later Nanika plot point that saved Gon's life mind you.

>communism
literally ever only works on paper. In practice it's a shitshow of the highest degree. You're right, one nuke wasn't enough

Meruem's biology was the pinnacle of all life, but radiation is the killer of all life. No matter how durable or resilient his cells were that massive dose of rads began to break them down and he was a dead bug, the fact he lasted so long is testament to the chimera ant's threat level.

The ultimate culmination of strength in a dark continent based race, created from countless humans and other species. Capable of barely getting scratched by a suicide attack from Netero that used all of his Aura.

Vs.

One dog Secretary working for the man who couldn't do shit to Meruem except manage to avoid death for a time with his slap speed.

The Rose was only so effective was because it was a dirty bomb that had some kind of super poison that could withstand nuclear fission

Yeah Nanika is shit. I think the only way he would work is as some kind of eldritch tier opponant that the hunters would have to face. Having that level of power actually be on side of the protagonists is just too OP
