Only 3.5 days left until the Higurashi wild ride is in full swing! Whatcha think's gonna be the first thing to hit the fan?

K1 doesn't go nuts and consults Mion on how to handle Rena. Rena thinks he is tattling on her to Mion and goes into a paranoid rage.

Reverse Onikakushi here we go

Are the VNs worth the read? Tried Umineko and while it had nice music, it was boring and took way too long to get to anything interesting so I ended up dropping it.

It took me 3 tries to get past Umineko's intro. After I got through it, it was wild as fuck.
Read the manga if you don't want to sit through VN's.

Yes, and don't exaggerate bro, it's like 5th grade reading comprehension, Higurashi only took me like 3 weeks of solid reading. Umineko took a bit longer only because I legitimately found the ending boring, but came around to like the game as a whole and I don't regret reading it one bit

I'm not exaggerating. The opening of Umineko was a boring slog.

I feel like the only person that likes the first 3 episodes and everything else was just worse. 5 was okay but still didn't like Chiru as a whole.

my dad works for anime. next episode will have one uncensored nipple. that is all.

I can't understand folks like this, what were your expectation going into Umineko? Did you read it before Higurashi? Or do you just not like reading? You have to set up a world before you begin exploring it, it's the most basic thing a reader has to concede to a writer to begin with. But, if it makes you feels any better, even I struggled with the first half of Ciconia, took me a whole month to read the entirety of Phase 1

rena's soft nipple poking through her soaked dress

>I dont understand this
>even though I did the same thing
Alright thanks

I don't understand dropping something before you give it a chance to get good.

I did give it a chance

I started reading Umineko a week ago and the beginning of EP1 is the slowest part but as of typing this I'm starting EP4 and am enjoying it.

Is this series worth getting into if I'm only interested in the anime? I know there's multiple seasons/series.

No. Read the visual novel.

Yes. Visual novels are boring trash for weebs.

Yes. The anime isn't as good as the VN but it's still a good experience.

K1's skull and we switch to RIka's POV

False Protagonist trope in full swing

The anime cuts out all of the boring shit and just gives you the important bits, so yes.

>just gives you the important bits
>they had to make another arc because they cut out too much important bits
Anyone that recommends the anime should be permabanned for trolling.

>what were your expectation going into Umineko
I expected something with a small cast of likable characters. instead of got an constantly expanding cast of shitty characters

>>they had to make another arc
Oh, so it includes all of the important bits like I literally just said. Neato.

it still doesn't you retard. they made a anime-exclusive arc because even when trying to include the important stuff they managed to cut important things. anime only secondaries should be beheaded.

>instead of got an constantly expanding cast of shitty characters
Every new episode brings in just a new batch of shit I don't care about. It is all so tiresome.

Why do I get the feeling Hanyuu is an actual separate personality that was in R07 long before he wrote Higurashi? I bet he got bullied for running around the neighborhood going "BOKU WA HAU AU NANO DESU"

They literally didn't cut out anything important, sperg.
