same thing will happen with rmpl, the way up is accelerated but the way down drawn out and full of pain. not only does the price dip to below 1 the holders get burnt when already at chronic loss, 10% day after day after day.. brutal

it's a shame, it could go far as a concept coin, but the shit would really need to burn, not seeing the ETH be siphoned off to a 'new' project, after a week of trading, and a twitter account ripped off from a band less than a month old.
burn the liquidity pool tokens, bill. ... burn that pile of ETH, and let it keep burning in the uniswap pool as the coin legitimately goes on feeding the fire. that would be deflationary.

No that's wrong and here's why --
the negative rebase is actually bullish in nature. When the supply is reduced, the price goes up. Think about it. Why did AMPL crash - because everyone was getting 30% rebases and becoming millionaires on paper.
Why will XAMPL be successful? Because there is no positive rebase. It's counter intuitive I understand, but it's true.
