It actually really annoys me that Tobi turned Sasuke into a full blown psychopath. Even though he was with Orochimaru, and even after the fact when he made Taka, he still kept his own code of justice to an extent. Not only that but his personality was still calm, and collected, despite the fact that he had the potential to flip his kill switch if necessary to maintain order. I really wish we got to see more of the covert, Taka boss Sasuke on his pursuit to achieve his goals. It would have unironically been cool if all the people he had freed, formed a newfound Hidden Sound Village with him at the helm. Sasuke wouldn't have even had to stay fully associated with Konoha outside of being mutual allies in the ending if that were the case.

It really makes me wonder why people say Sasuke wank killed the manga. If anything, from what I see, Sasuke's segments are the absolute highlight of Part 2 thus far. It also makes me wonder why Kishimoto neutered Naruto so much in comparison. The Wind Nature thing could have really went somewhere beyond Rasenshuriken, and at the least he could have learned how to use a weapon in a unique way like his dad, or Sasuke. It's like that entire segment with Asuma, and Kakashi's training resulted in nothing more than a situational nuke until Naruto gets Sage Mode, and the Cloak.

They had the third ninja war some ~20 years ago and Amegakure was super isolated from everyone else iirc, first because of Hanzo then Pain, so nobody really knew how things were in it. It was also the battleground for a ton of battles between nations before that.

We watched Shikamaru be patted on the back for seeking revenge because he's Shikamaru and he's so cool wow look at his master plan isn't he brilliant, then Naruto created a tactical nuke and pulled a simple-ass feint on Kakuzu who is 1000 years old and should have seen that coming, then Sasuke killed Orochimaru and made Team 7 2.0, now they and Naruto's gang are tracking down Itachi but Sasuke bumps into Deidara so now they have to fight
