What's actually good about this show?
I'm not trying to be antagonistic, just that every time I hear about this series is about how much money is making so I'm curious on why people read it.

Ufotable's strength is blending decent 2d, 3d, and postpro into something greater than the sum of its parts.
If you want to shit on KnY go for the easier target - everything but the visuals.

People have forgotten how fun gore is, and here's a well-budgeted, highly skilled in every department TV anime that is willing to go late night just to have a lot of "PG-13 in the '80s" level gore.
