4k seems likely based on most of the forecasts I've glanced at, but I'm no expert so I can't really say anything for certain. There are some very big indicators that point to Gold surpassing 3k within the next 12 months though.

well it would get the bucket out from under my porch for one thing. It would give me a bit of spare cash to make the mortgage payment if my job shuts down. Other than that I'm just curious if now is the time or if I should wait. Personally I think the tome to sell is when somebody brings up Gold in a conversation. At that point, you know that the price is likely going to plummet within the next few months. Also, if you have a gun safe or something like that, it may be a better idea to store it there instead.
