>series gets killed off by its author six months after the anime airs >still going, arguably even stronger than ever HOW? Why are companies still making shit for a series that has nothing left to advertise? Isn't the whole point of anime to shill the source material?
It is but if the anime ended up being a success for other market such as the anime itself, merch or other media then why stop.

Mostly- desu this doesn't matter to me much. Popularity polls are just something to involve the fans- it doesn't mean much functionally imo.
The only way i could see it leading to any difference is maybe merch production and if ufo will consider doing any filler content to focus on a particular character. But it won't affect the Canon already published.
Wow zenitsu first, didnt expect that, also tanjirou only 4th? Happy for muichiro and tapioka

>series gets killed off by its author six months after the anime airs There was a linear but coherent progression: -low class demon -middle class demon -caster demon(the one with 3 bodies) -2 fake lower moon -ex-6th lower moon -actual lower moon -strongest lower moon -6th upper moon -2 upper moon -3 upper moon - boss fight
It was freaking linear, Muzan died when he had to die and there was no longer need to continue to story, unless wani wanted milking it with some cheap Naruto-villain tier twist, but luckily wani is a smart author and she avoided this kind of bullshit

TV anime exists to advertise Movies make direct money Ufotable even has ridiculous shit like anime cafes that sell merch for the stuff they work on.
And the manga had no reasonable way to extend at the point it got huge besides a Jojo sequel. Which may still happen honestly, Wani may just not be as shameless as Araki to wing a complete plot reset and new characters with no plan beforehand.

>Ufotable even has ridiculous shit like anime cafes that sell merch for the stuff they work on. Anime cafes exist for lots of series, not just Ufotable's.

Muichiro is the cutest nugget and Uzui should be in the top 10.
That doesn't explain it. I prefer Tanjiro and Inosuke myself.

he's a fujo meme as the go-to bottom plus they're all normally popular characters too, the fujos just put them over the top
David Carter
well you aren't japanese

>It looks like a ranking made based on how much porn the character got Sasuga

I think it’s his “crybaby most of the time but serious/‘cool’ when it matters” character-type. Kids think he’s funny and fujos think he’s the fandom bicycle.
