It's genuinely shit.
I've actually seen a bunch of people liking it (excluding the S3 animation which obviously is terrible) and the only explanations I got were that the manga was good (maybe it is), and people liked it because they were already invested in it.

I hate it because after Mel turns evil, it takes a straight nosedive straight to the the ground. And then manages to defy all logic and keeps going lower and lower, until by the time we get to the shit with Arthur and that faggot cat, it reaches the Earth’s core and becomes completely unsalvageable, flaming garbage. The manga would have completely redeemed itself if it ended right here

Because it keeps getting worse the more you read it. You either stop after they defeat Demon Hendrickson or keep going just to experience Escanor and then drop it after his fight with Meliodas. The rest is just absolute garbage with Nakaba desperately winging it.

Because it continually gets worse over time. They introduced a character that easily carried the series because of how good he was, but the author had to ruin it

Forced myself through the first season because a friend reccommended it to me, dropped it the second the pointless powerlevel fights got a numerical value

Escanor was the only good part until he was ruined too

I liked it but really shouldn't have continued past the first 100 chapters.

Because after the Mael reveal, series took a nosedive in manners I can't even explain. By the end of it Escanor was the only one carrying the entire series on his back. And then we get whatever the fuck Cath Palug was.

It should have ending after dreyfus turned into a demon or whatever and got defeated. It started off so well and so great, then once the 10 commandments came and meliodas turned evil for the 4th time It just got worse and worse.

A lot of shonens just drop the ball.

7DS did it.
Tokyo ghoul did it.
DBS(Although it was never good) did it
HxH did it.

Literally marathoned both seasons with my dad in 3 days, it was pretty god but went to shit after they introduced numerical powerlevels, then it got saved by escanor just to the shit the bed after the second season.

The first half with the Ten commandments was kino. But after that it goes downhill so fast. I've never seen a manga drop the ball so hard, not even Tokyo Ghoul dropped it that badly.

Tokyo ghoul re should have never happened. It should have ended after the kaneki vs arima fight in part 1 and kaneki's supposed death.

Kaneki's life ends in a tragedy like it states in the very first chapter. Boom. No answers, No reveals. Just kaneki getting BTFO by someone that looks like his father, knows his name, and is superior to him in everyway.

Arima was foreshadowed the entire manga so It's not like he would have appeared out of no where and been some bullshit.

It's because it adopted dbz powerlevel numbers but instead of dropping them after one arc, they continued to exist for 40% of the manga's runtime.

I dropped it after escanor became a simp just because I lost interest. My friend told me even more retarded shit happened after that so I'm kinda glad I did.
