I'm really happy with the latest development this chapter. An issue people have with prominent characters dying and then coming back is that it undermines the weight of their sacrifice or the sadness we feel during their final, heartbreaking scene. They typically get this grandiose scene that lasts for a chapter or more. But the way Power died was really pathetic and lasted just a few panels. It had no weight, no purpose other than dying as a means to place the reader directly in Denji's shoes and evoke sudden shock, disbelief, confusion and anger. Fujimoto wanted us to know how Denji felt in that exact moment, and Power coming back does not take away from this aspect.
Another issue people have is when prominent characters die after their character arcs finally get resolved (like Aki) or when they're no longer useful, but then the author later decides to bring them back because of their popularity. However, Power's purpose up until this point was keeping the series grounded and helping to progress Denji's character, but she herself never got a character arc. To me it always felt like her potential was wasted, but I'm happy to see the opportunity is brought back for her now.
Devil Power is not a monster girl but she is super cute

Hey, look, it's that autist who pastes random posts in the OP, now with spoilers.

>t. powerfag >t. Its okay when its a character I like

>dog instead of the kitty

>I'm really happy with the latest development this chapter Anybody who reads further than and is angry they get spoiled is a retard. They have only themselves to blame
Jump confirms she is the heroine. Twice. This is an irrevocable fact. No need to feel threatened by reality, twist facts, and fabricate boogiemen to tailor to your delusions. As a Makimafag, I was overjoyed to see Power step back into the fray and get a few kills in. I love her, but she was in need if a thrashing (and it was nice seeing her show irritability and disbelief for a change.) You don't speak for me.

>Makima Tomato ver >Makima Doll ver >Makima Bat ver >Makima Snake ver >Makima Shark ver >Makima Typhoon ver >Makima Fox ver >etc .., If there is a CSM gacha game ...
Ironically, it's usually the Power fanboys who are in denial about Makima being a heroine and they will stick to anyone, even Kobeni, to be a heroine. Sad to see they can't enjoy having a villainous heroine for what she is.
Gabriel Taylor
If i am not mistaken, Makima can create dolls now since the old man can create dolls too @_@
Gavin Allen
Now THIS is cope! Be less obvious next time

>Kirby devil I want a game where we play as Makima, she goes around the world and Hell, defeats and collects devils left and right.
Charles Perez
You are trying too hard.
Gabriel Green
Not him but being confirmed a heroine doesn't confirm anything about how the story will develop. Daenerys Targaryen is a heroine.
Dylan Miller
I mean if Power wasn't the actual heroine she would have stayed dead. Not like she has 'infinite' revival hax like Makima (the villain)
Xavier Morales
Agreed. It's whatever if you call her "boring", "shitkima", or say she "fucks dogs." But denying her status as CSM's heroine is blatant cope. The fact he brings up the argument unprovoked demonstrates how threatened he feels over it.
Pot, meet kettle. Come back when you can form a cogent rebuttal without shitposting. But that's like telling you to wipe your ass without using your hands, isn't it?
Alexander Gutierrez
This is unironically an actual cope. Good job.
Parker Thomas
Crush all heroinefags.
Daniel Cooper
my main problem is that I don't like CSM enough to reread it and I'm pretty hazy on the rules of how demons cross over to remember how much of an asspull this is
Nathaniel Foster
>Little do do you know, Fuji brings back Aki and Power so Denji would forgive Makima, they can rebuild their relationship again
Easton Mitchell
will a csm anime actually reach the end? haven't watched anime in a long time cuz it feels like nothing gets finished these days.
Liam Williams
>but being confirmed a heroine doesn't confirm anything No one here argued anything of the sort. And if it "doesn't confirm anything", then why pretend Power is the true lead? This is some serious cognitive dissonance. It's almost like people bothered by Makima being heroine are paranoid about its implications leading to "something." Otherwise, it shouldn't be a cause for contention.
Carter Walker
The rules are intentionally kept hazy for reveals like this. It's not really a series that explains in full detail what could happen and how the powers work, because that would detract from the shock value or surprise when reveals happen. A lot of it is only implied or only seen in action, readers fill in the gaps that "make sense" to then, but those are not necessarily correct either.
Michael Harris
I'm personally not surprised with this development, because it was a necessary step for us to reach the sex chapter.
I agree that it doesn't mean it will lead to anything, but I want it to lead to something not because it's cute pairing, but because I want to see how Fuji will pull it off after everything she has done and what kind of cunt she is. Something different from the run of the mill.
