This is a serious post. I'm not expecting most of you to agree but maybe a few can help.
I feel shitty about my crypto gains, and if Link takes off, I will feel super shitty. There is something satisfying about working a job to earn your money. Selling something for $50 on ebay felt better than making huge sums of money off crypto. Some of you might say "You did the research and were smart enough to see this opportunity". But it was really just a few hours of reading stuff on here and a few clicks of the mouse, combined with the luck of being on this forum. Part of me wishes I just finished school, got a normal job and never heard of this place.
I don't even feel good being apart of Link. The fourth industrial revolution and the singularity sounds like a nightmare, and the saturn shit is a huge turn off. I'm considering selling off my stack just to escape this hell, even though I think it will hit 1k and beyond. Winning the lottery can ruin your life. I really think acquiring huge amounts of money without working is not good. I'm not looking for sympathy but maybe some advice. Thanks

I kinda know where you are coming from. I made 5k in about 2 minutes the other day on one swing trade. Now that's not lot of money. But I used to be homeless and work at mcdonalds. it would take me nearly a year of hard labor to make 5k. And some people are probably still in that same position. But I made it in 2 minutes by clicking my mouse a couple times when line go up. Something does feel wrong about it all

I'm like you in that I think that this crypto shit is 99% luck. I research a coin a little bit, put in some money, check my portfolio, and hope for the best. Like, I put some money in AMPL and made a couple thousand bucks. I didn't do any work except read a little bit, follow a trend, and tap some buttons on my phone. And that gave me a month's salary right there. In my eyes, that is a gift.
The thing is, money isn't just how much you measure up in the world. Money is an opportunity. Just like you, I made some mistakes. My parents paid for my college, and in my freshman year, I dropped out because I didn't think I could handle it. But I've been using some of my crypto gains to pay for technical school, and I just got my first job in IT. I used it to better my life. What do you like to do? Do you have any interests in science, business, mathematics? You're never too old to go back to school, especially when you have a disposable income. Do you want to start a business or become an engineer? Even if you want to start an eBay business, it's productive. Do you want to make something with you hands? Are you a creative type? Do you like writing stories or drawing? You can do anything you want now because you have money.
Another thing to consider is: are you stuck in a rut? Do you need to make a change? Move to a different city. Go outside and meet a girl. Take a class at your local community college. Hell, just do something different. Don't just put up your feet and wallow in sadness while you become a millionaire. This may be gibberish to some people, but this is how I see it. Good luck, OP.

Not to sound rude, but how old are you? What else will you be doing during those 7 years? 7 years is nothing compared to the rest of your life, and when you get out you'll be a registered physical therapist. It's good that you have interests that you're thinking about, though. Also, why not just get the 4 year if it's a lesser salary? If you have money to back it up to live off of, money doesn't matter as much.
