What in the name of fuck is a covered call how do i do one on trading 212
>You hold a block of shares (100) and then you sell calls for an 'improbable' (but close) strike. I sold mine at $20.50 for the 21st, $110/ea. Your calls are covered by holding the underlying, the calls sold give the holder the right to buy at strike, I don't suggest strike below cost basis. When it expires you get the premium. Honestly this is like gibberish to me what do you mean ea and 1st???
Should I sell my 190 GLD 8/14 call? Im up 120% but it hasn't really slowed down

Oh, hey user. Glad you got here in one piece. For some reason I feel like we've been to this place before, no way that's true though.
But damn, this bar is weird! For some reason, they only serve KO and PEP. Anyway, I thought we could talk for a while about the markets. Which do you prefer?
I'm going to join you. I'll buy a single call and some shares before close.

This shit has got to be the ultimate bread and circuses, all these actions are just kicking the can down the road, virus could vanish overnight and so much damage is done. People aren't going to go back to work and magically get months of back rent, people that were doing ok but took a hit in household income are debt spending to stay afloat, people that were doing good but took an income are burning savings and assets. We're going into the part of the year where people travel and consooooom like crazy and even without the virus in Oct-Dec people won't have money to do so.
