He said during the Kabuto fight that 'everything could've been solved with a conversation with CHILDsuke', so I'd put that to the test, but if it fails, the clan will still at least be militarily prepared for Obito's portion of the attack.

After that, it's all pretty easy. You know about the black zetsu shenanigans, Madara, Danzo's corruption, and all your future enemies domestically and abroad. Sarutobi will have no choice but to listen if we prevent the massacre and seek an audience.

Most likely the Shinobi World War will happen but sooner and with different actors. Itachi & Nagato would be Sasuke and Naruto, receive the S06P powers, and fight Kaguya. After peace is achieved and I'm 12, I do all the meme shit ITT. (We'd be Boruto-era then.)

Pretty simple game plan.
1. When I see the corpse of Mom and Dad, make sure to take out Dads eyes so I can unlock the EMS sooner, since he had MS and I should be able to unlock MS rather quickly
2. Befriend Naruto, and make Hinata fall for me in addition to Ino and Sakura
3. Reintroduced Ninshu (the ability to share chakra that Hagaromo made) as an excuse to have Naruto share his Chakra with me everyday so I can unlock the rinnegan by combining Indra’s and Asura’s chakra without the need for Hagaromo to give it to me
And I guess learn Tsunade’s seal and Sage Mode to make up for the only weakness Sasuke has, his low chakra levels.

"I don't want a deathmatch with my own son." At this point, Itachi had killed everyone--there was no going back for him and no way he could be reinstated as a normal Shinobi--it was kill or be killed, and Fug chose to not kill his son.
Having intel before means Fugaku doesn't have to do that: he can prepare for Obito and Itachi and subdue both before either kill anyone. We know Fugaku was the leader of the coup that already suspected Itachi so in the worst case he'd assign himself to Obito and leave Itachi to the other clansmen.
Once he knows who the true enemy is (Danzo, Madara, Zetsu, etc.) I won't even have to talk clan ideology or what it means to be a shinobi or even ask 'are you making the right decision?', it's a matter of refocusing your target.

I have no doubt he'd listen to me and write up a strategy.
