The Evangelion Rebuilds (especially 3.0) are the biggest pleb filters of all time.
If you don't like the rebuilds, you don't like Evangelion.
The Evangelion Rebuilds (especially 3.0) are the biggest pleb filters of all time
Eat a dick Anno. The rebuilds are soulless cash grabbing uninspired shit.
3.0 is too kino for Zig Forums
too kino for this gay earth
Summarise and explain the entire plot of the rebuilds or they suck.
Hideaki Anno? More like, Hideous Anus
Like poetry
Shinji saves Rei and triggers the 3rd impact
Shinji falls asleep for 14 years
Misato seethes because of Gendo and forms WILLE
WILLE and NERV fight
Shinji triggers the 4th impact.
>pleb filters
More like pleb magnets. It's full of style over substance shots of CG robot ninja flips and over-the-top plot twists to appeal to the masses.
>style over substance
Style is substance
>over-the-top plot twists
... Like?
The cgi in 3 makes me cringe when I show it to people. The last half of 2 is pure Kino though.
Carlos!
Based 2.0 Chad, the CGI in 3 is unbearable
asuka is feces
only midwit pseuds hate 2.0 GAR shinji
I haven't watched the rebuilds but the music in them is top tier 10/10. Shiro Sagisu is a master at his craft, if you don't believe me just listen to Zeruels theme from the rebuilds. Pure quality.
Like what happened before the events of 3.0? Why is unit 01 in a cross thing if it’s apparently the cause of all this?, who pulled the spear?, are we forgetting that scene where ritsuko kept asuka in secret calling her valuable and actively worked with the Evangelions yet in 3.0 she’s one of the good guys?, if rei’s soul is in unit 01 then why is lilith all bloated like that and a giant rei head is there?, how is shinji who in 3.0 everyone hates him for “causing“ all this yet he’s been trapped in unit01?, why was there an angel in mk 06?, why was mk 6 in central dogma?
most of those have answer, im too lazy them but maybe someone else will
K-Kojima???
I’m going to leave another question here. How has nerv got the recourses to do this shit for 14 years? even if selee saved up materials they’ve been in constant battle with wille. How is wille in the losing side if they have more access to resources as opposed to nerv and selee who are in the wasteland that used to be japan?
Nerv also built their very own wunder somehow
Also why doesn’t wille send Mari and asuka to go clean house if they know where gendo is?
>kino
Go back, faggots.
>replying to obvious bait
1.0 is a photocopy of a photocopy. stale but edible.
2.0 is horrible schlock. a high budget fapfig commercial highjacked by glorified otaku that didn't understand the source material beyond the superficial, and anno didn't care enough to tell them no
3.0 a direct response to 2.0 as anno realized it fucking sucked because he gave too much ground, and so it goes too far in the other direction. but its boldness and how it trolls its own fans are fun and appreciated on a meta level. it's horribly structured both as a feature film and as a third part in a tetralogy, and the characters become cardboard cutouts that are somehow even worse in their nulled development than the 2D caricatures in 2.0. and the Curse of Eva sure does make the 14 year old waifus conveniently legal don't it. but the kaworu stuff in isolation is absolute kino.
also the music in all three is consistently great
yes i do like mixing metaphors and eating photocopies thanks
I haven't watched any of them yet, and not because I've heard anyone talk shit about them, I just haven't really gotten around to it, and don't know how it would continue from where the End of Evangelion left off (which is one of my favourite anime films, or films in general).
nice trips
watch it and figure it out
we don't really know either, maybe the 4th film will tell us
there it is, right there, the most retarded statement i have read today
>misatofags too stupid to understand the essence of what makes Evangelion great
Not surprising in the least.
>t. reinigger
a song as old as time
educate me then. what makes eva great to you
cool robots fighting and great directing together with the theme of ones identity, something the Rebuilds do just as well as the original TV series.
If you watched the original TV series and paid attention, you would notice how the overall quality went down as soon as Asuka appeared.
It went from being a perfect blend of SoL and mecha to obnoxious screaming and insufferable character interactions.
don't watch them, you're not missing anything. they're at best a soulless retread, and almost entirely superficial whalebaiting. you'll be happier not having them potentially sour your taste on the series.
listen to the soundtrack maybe.
