Why is Matsuribayashi-hen disliked?
Higurashi
It's asspull: the chapter
Minagoroshi-hen is better ending to the series.
for being cringe as fuck
>Kids take down a military unit with Home Alone style traps.
disliked by who?
Most people I talked to seems to hate on the ending for some reason reasons, some I heard is.
Characters acting out of character
Keiichi gets sidelined for no reason
Wild Dogs become retarded.
The other loops have everyone struggling to attain happiness, while in Matsuribayashi it's practically handed to them. Doesn't really feel as deserved.
Miotsukushi did it better since Rika actually did something for once.
>since Rika actually did something for once.
Rika being the most useless time travel MC ever is a meme.
>Minagoroshi-hen
it was never an ending though.
>Miotsukushi did it better since Rika actually did something for once.
Miotsukushi shills need to stop.
Original ending was also shit.
At least Keiichi doesnt get thrown under the bus in Miotsukushi for no fucking reason.
People talk about asspulls in Matsuribayashi when Miotsukushi has way worse.
Such as?
IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ASSPULL: THE ARC! THE ONE IN A TRILLION FRAGMENT! THE MONKEY RANDOMLY TYPING OUT HAMLET!
God, I fucking hate newfags so much.
Minagoroshi-hen is a better end to the series. Suck my cock retard.
You are not funny or quirky. I'm fact you are a sad excuse of human being.
Hanyuu and Rika spamming timestop powers against Takano.
sadfuck
By who?
I riked it
Watch the interviews.
>asspull
This word is starting to lose all meaning
It is literally an asspull. It's not
>I don't like it so it's an asspull
The entire arc is just asspull after asspull.
still, canon seethe fags
No one complained when the Ewoks did it
Higurashi is good because it's full of suspense. It's actually much better as a thriller than as a horror, mystery or character drama.
Matsuribayashi has no suspense at all. Everything is easy, the villains are a joke and there is nothing that hooks you since all the questions were answered in the previous chapters.
Yes, it's supposed to be a perfect world, but that's what makes it so boring.
>asspull
*miracle
The hell? Disliked? I distinctly remember enjoying the final wild ride in Home-Alone style, such a happy ending was needed for a series that was bleak suffering with a glimmer of hope through most of its run.
Also, it's false that it's disliked, since 100% of people have the Ultimate Akasaka scene as one of their favorites.
And I ESPECIALLY remember getting hyped as all fuck when Mion gets all "Come at me bro, I'm the one in charge of the club", Okonogi charges against her and she pulls some Judo moves off. I got so hyped I took screenshots and uploaded them to /vn/ while screeching (and got ignored) but yeah it was pure hype.
But no, the story was NOT supposed to have any other kind of ending if you know anything about writing. The "rhythm" was all leading to this, the asspull would be to give us a sad ending when sad endings are 7/8 of the goddamn book.
Holy fuck this actually sounds great. The Higurashi community has been telling for a decade already that Miotsukushi is the best ending, only Zig Forums likes to act this way.
But I didn't know Rika used timestop powers there; one of my complaints of Higurashi is that Rika and Hanyuu are vaguely powerful but we never got to see them go full-power.
Extra annoying because the DEEN anime finale implies Adult Rika goes full witch and can control time, so I'd have liked it if she used it during the story. If Miotsukushi has that AND it's being implemented like an actual part of the plot (instead of a last-minute asspull to deflect a bullet by Hanyuu), then it beats Matsuribayashi.
Yep, actually that complaint you have applies more to the original ending, Hanyuu just going "MIRACLE" and deflecting a bullet came out of nowhere but if it had been established as a super-power they can use earlier and used 2 or 3 times beforehand, it's at least something you can expect for the final Takano shooting scene.
...I was trying to sound like different people here and ended up typing almost the exact number of words with the same structure. What the hell is going on HANYUU
>Hanyuu just going "MIRACLE" and deflecting a bullet came out of nowhere
Are you a secondary?
No, I remember in Minagoroshi they did a very...weird scene with time stopped talking to Keiichi before he got killed.
But I thought it was a metaphorical thing so the bullet deflection still was a surprise, she never showed the power to affect things before.
Imagine having a western-Orthodox-Christian mentality that doesn't allow you to be satisfied and happy and instead teaches that without pain, happiness cannot be obtained. Literal cuck mindset. How can you hate a happy ending?
