Does One Piece have horrible pacing?

Does anyone else feel like One Piece isn't even really progressing? Instead of Oda addressing the many unresolved plot threads, every other chapter he introduces new characters & concepts that add more questions to the world of one piece and now we're stuck with an endless list of things that probably won't be addressed. Reminder that the fanbase kept saying Reverie was going to answer a lot of questions and even that bullshit ended on a cliffhanger. In fact Oda seems to have some form of ADHD, where whenever he starts talking about a topic he ends it on a cliffhanger and then switches to something else without going back to that topic for at least 5 years.

He likes blueballing his fans.

Man, if having 1000+ episodes searching a treasure to still don't even know where is it located is not bad pacing i don't know what is pacing.

Goes along with the horrible art and the horrible humor

His manga is famous for tying together tons of narrative threads in a enjoyable way. The problem is that there are too many things to see, people to notice, plot to get through. Each chapter has tons of characters talking and doing shit, but after 20+ years the people just need catharsis.

>introduces dozens of literal who's every arc
>arc always ends with a giant clusterfuck battle that takes 60 chapters but lasts 1 day in universe
>enjoyable

Yes, now move along to the next general

I started watching it. Ep 65. I like it so far aside from some parts that feel like filler (but then I just pay less attention).
Should I proceed? My only long anime before that was Gintama. I really do enjoy the setting, battles and character design.

Welcome to shonen. You must be new.

>says this while reading weekly

it has perfect pacing desu, you are just not consuming the medium how its intended to be.

>Gintama
No, just watch more comedies or you can try Jojo.

one piece anime has terrible pacing, unlike the manga which is perfect. You can try "onepace" tough, which has fans trying to salvage the anime by cutting it down to the manga. Its not perfect

>One Piece isn't even really progressing?
It taked you all this time to realise that?

nigga its took

thank?

imagine thinking a series that is semi-realistically exploring an explorative trip around the world would resolve quickly, and that all mysteries in the world would be revealed early

One Piece isn't the series for you, fly you fool

The problem with manga is that mangaka are expected to shit out a new chapter every week with no time to polish or plan ahead. They just make shit up as they go, with emphasis on quantity over quality.
This is why no anime will ever be better than Avatar: the Last Airbender.

Sorry, I watched Jojo and tons of comedies.

Thx. Honestly I feel that I do it subconsciously through boring arcs. That dragon shit was pure garbage. I ended up reading Zig Forums through most of it.

Parasyte, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Eureka Seven

Please get out

FMA:B isn’t even as good as FMA (2003)

FMA switching to FMAB in secret lab is the way.

What the hell are you talking about? We've learned a fuck ton over the course of the past few years. This is some sort of observation bias.

We just got through learning a lot about the past age of pirates and Roger as a character where before we had only seen the briefest of glimpses.
We got to see firsthand what his entire search for the Poneglyphs was like. And we got the first real direct hint at what the actual fucking One Piece is, literally the mystery that the series is named after, and we got a look at Raftel and how it actually functions in the world.

Everything is nearly in place for the ending of the entire series. We have the direct conflict between the Celestial Dragons, the Revolutionary Army, and the Emperors basically starting and looming on the horizon with even characters like Lucci and Moria brought back. We've had the final big bad now teased with Im. We have enough hints about the Void Century and the nature of the Red Line to formulate theories.

Like we just came out of probably one of the most significant stories of the entire series with Oden's flashback in terms of learning about the history of the world. This is a series that is going to go well past 100 volumes, of course stuff about the ending is going to be held onto until the last minute, but we're clearly getting to the home stretch now to the point that we know exactly which final pieces of the puzzle we're waiting for.

>Does one piss have horrible _____?
Yes.

Wuhan piss pace is mexican telenovela tier, stretched out as long as it sells. Maybe now that Kimetsu is destroying wp sales you'll get to see the ending.

>complaining about slow pacing instead of fast pacing
Literal retards

We're speaking to spaniels here.

>Reverie was going to answer a lot of questions and even that bullshit ended on a cliffhanger.
i bet that Reverie will have a direct impact on Wano, that's why Oda didn't show the resolution

>Avatar
>tons of shitty filler that don't matter
>not even close to same ambitious level of other anime
>deus ex machina to defeat a generic main villain
>destroying some balloons is defeatign the entire fire nation

Yes, Oda doesn't understand how to cut content so he just loads in a lot of third and fourth tier shit that could have been left at the wayside but people will argue on here that it's "world building" when it's not.

This is why i stopped reading it after the arc where they save Robin.

It's sad to see the state of anime when a decade old cartoon has filler that does an infinitely better job of developing the characters, expanding the world, and keeping the plot grounded.
