The last time it was an issue the mod recommended using substantive text in the OP and making each thread different enough to not be labeled a general. Last thread was really good and hit image limit before bump limit

Two or three days ago I saw one of these get nuked on page 6. Asked on /qa/ but the thread just died. Was too lazy to go to the IRC. No mod posts in the thread, just gone.

We also got a chapter translation mixed in the last thread

Jannies can't ban or delete. They can flag a post or thread for up to 15 minutes, which sends it to a moderator to review. The moderator judges whether its ban or deletion worthy.

Well then the mods are just as nuts. Because stuff constantly gets randomly deleted for no reason. Just in the last week or so I've had multiple of my posts get deleted without them being offtopic or breaking rules in any way.
