My favourite has got to be the couple that go through hell just to be reunited, and then the heart wrenching 'fight' scene where by all accounts the guy should rightfully protect his waifu and save the day, but no, every single ray of hope is blocked as the hero loses finger upon finger because Uzi > Karate any day. Then the waifu gets killed too. Fucking brutal shit for a 12 year old to read.
