Is there any way to save my wretched soul. From what i've looked into there are so many fuckin wallet's i'm not sure what the real difference is between them all. And after wallets the huge fucking amount of different crypto's. Where do i start ? Help me pass go Zig Forums, just point me in a direction so i can start moving.

this is the place to start. do this today. Like RIGHT NOW. Its not too late, things have only just picked up
after that take a breather and start educating yourself. Learn what bitcoin is and why its important. Learn what Ethereum is and why smart contracts are important. Learn why Link is integral to the ecosystem.
Then when you understand where we are, and what the current issues and barriers are, you can start to invest in smaller projects that are trying to do cool new things. Not even going to bother mentioning other projects because you wont understand until you put in the above work. Youtube is a great way to start learning.

BTC ETH and LINK are the three closest “sure things”. But BTC is expensive and only moves between a certain price band. ETH is going much higher but is already $400. LINK just hit $10. You literally have just walked into a major opportunity. All other crypto is either a major speculative gamble or an outright scam.

With that small an upfront investment no, literally just buy LINK. If you had $5k I’d say split between LINK and ETH. LINK will 10x from here easily, ETH will grow slower. Don’t listen to the people shilling you useless scam shitcoins. You risk losing it all.

1) Find a exchange to convert Fiat to crypto.
2) Set up a crypto wallet and transfer your crypto to it (because if you leave it in the exchange, they have the private seed, so it's technically not yours)

I wouldn’t even worry about a wallet with your low initial investment, just leave it on Coinbase Pro for now, you can get a wallet later. Coinbase is legit and you are covered to a certain amount if anything were to happen as long as your account is secure. And also stop using pol and especially stop telling people you’re from pol

Electrum is only for Bitcoin

learn about myetherwallet, and metamask. Once you master those two you're range of access will expand exponentially.
Also people like to talk about "not your keys not your crypto" but holding your stuff on coinbase is very safe. The biggest thing is that it goes against the cyberpunk crypto ethos. But you're still too new to worry about that

If youre a recently converted Zig Forumstqrd like myself, youll probably be interested in Monero (Privacy coin), XSN (decentralized exchange, IMO the most promising at the moment), Dether (decentralized fiat on/off ramp), and Libertas (censorship resistant media).
Plenty of people will fud those (fear, uncertainty, doubt) but you always have to DYOR and think for yourself. No project doesnt have fudders.
