Good anime experience >>> good manga experiece.

Mangafags lack self control.

I agree with you but please spell check your post next time.

I read manga and watch anime because I hate america and require alternate entertainment, and manga is a more intensely unamerican medium

Ok, I will.

I think the main problem with anime is it has to be appealing to the masses.
Manga may have this restriction but to a lesser degree; there's a lot of garbage you have to wade through to get to good manga. There's also the likelihood of getting axed or scans/translations drop off.

Why not just try cinema?

bump

I personally don't enjoy anime adaptions due to aspects like voice acting, lack of quality as to focus on animation, loss of a unique artstyle, generally poorer compositions, and repetitive use of music.
Animefags could learn to appreciate a simpler medium, or a story as it was intended.

There are a lot of mangas that would be hard to adapt/ have already failed as adaptions. Just read Berserk, it's perfect. Secondly, even with a good adaptions, some parts will just be subpar to the manga version. Example is Highway star fight in Jojo part 4.

you havent watched much anime have you

So you're never going to know how the story in 90% of anime adaptations of manga ends?

Most one cour adaptations end on a somewhat satisfactory note.

>Good anime experience >>> good manga experiece
dont say stupid shit like that and use an image of chito and yuuri you dick

You are just a dumb fagget
Who is kissing out on countless great stories, because you lack imagination and need your Chinese drawings to move by themselves and be full of pretty colors
I bet you have never experienced an author mangaka's true vision because you lack discipline.

>Who is kissing out on countless great stories.

Doesn't matter because there are already countless great stories already adapted for me to watch. I'll read manga once I run out of good anime and movies to watch.

it takes for a while for the manga experience to click but once it does, you wont realize youve been reading several chapters already. ive been there

I've only read Fire Punch and couldn't realize if it was just bad or if I am not into managa as a whole. I'll eventually give manga another chance, but like I said there are a lot of anime and movies to catch up to.

yeah man I CAN'T WAIT to watch the Jojolion anime in 2083

Fuck off, manga's always better

I post online too much to not have source material spoiled for me by other people eventually, so I either read the source for things I like or let myself get spoiled for things I don't care about. Not once have I truly avoided spoilers for an anime.

>He doesn't know the majority of manga NEVER get full adaptations

damn 89 years old, user, can't believe,

you'll really be at least 89 years old!

Holy based. I do like manga but i don't know why people read the manga and watch the adaptation. Like its basically the same thing

Thinking that anime>manga

Do animefags really?

Thanks to mangafags we can't have normal discussions to the ongoing series. I wonder if the character will do this and that... NOOO YOU'RE WRONG LET ME TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN ALSO HERE'S A PAGE FROM THE MANGA FOR THE REFERENCE I CROPPED IT OUT SO YOU CAN SEE JUST BY LOOKING AT THUMBNAIL I HOPE YOU'RE ENJOYING THE SERIES

I don't want to watch the anime because I don't want to spoil the manga for myself and because I think the anime industry is mostly garbage and even if by some miracle you get a good adaptation it's inconsistent because of seasons and may just never be complete. I like complete stories while animefags seem to be fine with never getting complete stories because either an adaptation never gets another season or their original was made to have a sequel that never happens because the anime isn't successful. Only watching anime seems like purposely being a masochist.

It's sometimes nice to see things animated and quite often an adaptation will come out either after the manga has been running for a while (which is usually what happens) or sometimes it'll happen after it ends (like Dorohedoro) so I get to experience it from the beginning again, which may not be fresh in my memory due to having read it for years.

This would be fixed with a manga board but we haven't gotten that yet and anytime the idea is brought up animefags want to forcibly keep manga on this board for a myriad of stupid reasons.

Should've read the manga

Larping that the source material doesn't exist is not "normal discussion"

>This would be fixed with a manga board
A tagging system would be better than having a completely separate board
