The Gaoh style seems too complicated compared to the Niko style, almost every move has a charge->change direction->attack, Niko style pretty much exclusively just has attack. I suppose the mandatory charge in is too predictable.

I wouldn't say Gaoh style is more complicated so much as it is more inflexible. Niko style is a toolbox of flexible moves and niche counters that can fit any situation fairly well since it's pretty much just MMA.
