There's no need to pretend to be all mysterious. A Higu sequel should play like Matsuribayashi and Minagoroshi, with an MC Rika fully aware of what to do to win being all meta and wondering what happened to send her back in time with some flashbacks to her highschool days and griefing
This wouldn't even be a sequel without those first 30 seconds at episode 2,it very well could be another endless loop with crazy higus with Rena killing Tomitake and Takano.
