So about the Dark Continent. Since humans and magical beasts came from the Dark Continent many 100 years ago, what did they left behind? How would the Dark Continent look like if they decided to stay there and build many civilization as they did on their new (now regular) world? Were the calamities created or did they always existed? Are there still orginal humans left there? Also how strong is nen in the DC?
Any other theories about the Dark Continent are welcome!
I hope we get a video game about the Dark Continent. Hunter x Hunter: The Dark Continent, where we can explore the Dark Continent and fight/evade it’s denizens.

>how in the FUCK can a planet be this big ? Planets can get pretty big, the earth isn't even close to the size a rock can get before collapsing into itself. Still being habitable despite being a more solid version of Jupiter is another story, but you could explain that with a simple "Because of nen" or maybe the human world in HxH is just much smaller than ours and the entire planet isn't that big.
>how did the goverment hide the existence of the dark continent ? No idea honestly. Sattelites, space exploration, hobby astronomers, or simply the length of the day should've made it obvious that the planet is much, much bigger than what's shown on the maps, even the general public should be able to notice that. I guess you could just claim that the HO is omnipotent and controls everything, down to even the most insignificant bloke with a telescope, or maybe Togashi just read too much Toriko and wanted his own gourmet world.

Haven't visited these threads in months, any news about the manga?
Jason Butler
There never will be user.
Carson Clark
never is my guess. he's getting old and if he couldn't handle the weekly schedule when he was young, he sure af wont be able to now.
so if I'm seeing this right, the current hiatus is the longest one so far?
Ethan Powell
the planet is not just big it is fucking gigantic . it was said that it will take more than 10000 to explore all of the dark continent like god damn and the night to day cycle should take waaaay longer than the real world

How are you bros coping with the lack of chapters?

Gon was kinda dumb to choose Strip of Beach as his disguised card. If he hadn’t been able to change it back he would have been stuck with some shitty real estate
Some argue that the kurapika bonus story shouldn't count, which would mean the longest hiatus is actually 103 chapters long. So we still have 14 issues to go.
Dark Sonata is the calamity Pap from the DC. According to Ging, victims of two calamities have been found on this side of the world, one we know is Ai. What happened to Melody always seemed like something a bit extreme for conventional nen, Pap is shown to turn humans in abominations similar to what you'd imagine Melody would be had she listened to the whole music. Also Togashi started dropping DC hints right about the end of HA and the beginning of Yorkshin, most notably introducing Kurapika's new Kurta outfit featuring a Mobius strip design, so Melody's background could be another hint. Finally, we see a devilish figure similar to the Sonata devil when they're talking about the past DC expedition.
Ging's dad said to have gone missing on a boat trip is currently exploring the DC or died trying, and he's the one who told Ging about it.
Don Freecs is somewhat involved in the creation of the hunter association if not he's straight up the one who founded it. We know he's been exploring the DC for about 300 years and the current hunter exam numbers around 290, 287 is the one Gon took. It's one exam per year, the timeline matches too perfectly for it to be a coincidence

The universe and scale of Hunter x Hunter doesn’t really make sense uh right?
