so i've followed JiuCrypto for a while now and tend to trust him when it comes to shitcoins. he's got a good nose and has been an early buyer of many bangers. not saying this is one but for him to be curious makes me intrigued.
i'm not sure on the technical aspect but if you want real DeFi you need anonymity and there's no real protocol that exists for this yet. xft seems to be privacy+defi which is the missing link. thoughts?

Yeah. XFT essentially requires that these various existing coins/tokens be burned (along with XFT) so that they can exist in their privacy token state. For a burn-based privacy token, it's laughably criminal that it's still sub-$1m in marketcap.
Although an alternative could exist wherein people would push their regular ETH/ERC-20s through protocols like Aztec or Mixer. Can't remark on the state of those as opposed to this, but I'm sure people would just want to use a privacy-bridge. Maybe STAKE's xDAI be utilized in tandem.

From what I understand most of the development in XFT has been conceptual. They are just now hiring developers. Team seems very honest, but a lot of work to be done for sure. Not a bad hold if you have the patience, but for me personally the opportunity cost of holding it when there are so many things mooning proved to be too much. I might buy back in soon if I can scrape some money together if my other projects do well short term.
Agreed. This is a longer-term hold for me. Very hopeful as I know this can be something big, but its full-potential is a little ways off.

The fact that this thread is full of level-headed assessments on the status of the project rather than moonboy price predictions is honestly pretty bullish. I do think though that it has a good amount of upside in the short term because of how low its marketcap is.
XFT is in its infancy right now and a lot of crypto influencers are starting to notice it. It's just a matter of time before it takes off on its own.
